The Fenelon Place Funicular Railway/Elevator in Dubuque, IA
This is probably one of Dubuque's main attractions. This is a funicular railway elevator that goes up to what is now the rich peoples neighborhood. Despite what I have been told, this elevator has to have at least one anti-slide-down-the-hill feature. As far as I know, if it didn't, operation of it would be against U.S. elevator code. Either way, it's a neat little contraption and definitely worth the time (and cost) to visit. I believe it costs around a dollar per person to ride. There will be no specs list for this elevator, as much of the data would be unknown or inapplicable. Also, as a few of you might know, today (Sept 25) is my channel anniversary. Happy two year anniversary of Elevating Denver.

Dubuque Iowa
Driving through this city was interesting. The roads are very wavy and elevated up and downwards. Winters must be fun with 4x4! ;)
Dubuque is amongst Illinois, and Wisconsin. Area known as the tri state area. It is SW of Wisconsin, Far East of Iowa state and NW of IL.
-The Mississippi runs along the city.
-Its the tenth largest city.
-It serves as the main commercial, industrial, educational, and cultural center for the area.
Unfortunately I didn't try any food there.
Attractions
-The aquarium/museum are a must.
-The river, dam and scenery under Julien Dubuque bridge.

The Old 11th Street Elevator in Dubuque, IA
You may know of the 4th Street elevator in Dubuque if you’re from the area, but there was an 11th Street elevator too! The elevator lasted from 1888 to 1927. It was later demolished in 1929, but you can still walk up and down the steps today. A pretty cool piece of history.
