There’s no other place like it on earth and it is always a privilege when we have the opportunity to travel to the island. It’s easy to see why Tania + Mikhail thought Nantucket was the perfect setting for their amazing wedding weekend. Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at The Wauwinet where Maggie Naylon (and her Nantucket Island Events team) was there to help the day run smooth. Soirée Floral handled all of the beautiful floral arrangements that you see throughout their film. After Tania + Mikhail tied the knot we traveled down to Sankaty for a brief photo shoot. It was a bit foggy so we couldn’t get any shots with the Sankaty Lighthouse (Dani and I traveled back the next day for a clear view of it). Tania + Mikhail are one of those couples that are clearly meant for each other and it evident through their video. Congratulations, Tania + Mikhail!

John The Baptist Cave. This first temple water system was discovered in 2004. It was held in veneration of John The Baptist during the first century . Three theories are held. One it is where he was born. Two it is where he was hidden during the slaughter of the innocents and three where his ministry started.

Leyden Street (1620): The Oldest Street in Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA...built by the Pilgrims
This is a clip of the oldest street in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The street was named Leyden Street in honor of the city in the Netherlands that offered refuge to the Pilgrims while they were persecuted in England. Leyden Street may be the oldest street in one of the original thirteen colonies laid out by colonists and in continuous use since 1620. The Pilgrims built their houses and fort along the street. The First Thanksgiving was likely held nearby in 1620. Plymouth Rock is near the water end of the street and is the alleged point of arrival from the Mayflower.
The clip also shows First Parish Church in Plymouth, MA. Founded by the Piligrims, it is currently a Unitarian Universalist congregation and located near the site of the first fort and cemetery on Burial Hill. It is the oldest church congregation in New England, and the oldest continuous congregation in the United States.
