Whiteville Wolfpack State Championship Series | The News Reporter
The Whiteville Wolfpack defeated the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls in a best-of-three series at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C., on June 5 and 6 to win the NCHSAA 1A baseball state championship. The Wolfpack won game one 7-0, lost game two 6-2, and won game three 6-1. Whiteville has now won back-to-back state championships.
