USA VAN LIFE FLORIDA WELCOME CENTER
Since 1949, millions of auto travelers entering Florida along the major thoroughfares have found a warm greeting at the Official Florida Welcome Centers. At each convenient location, these visitors have found friendly, informative staff people and a vast assortment of brochures promoting all the state has to offer.
Today, that tradition continues at the Official Florida Welcome Centers located on I-10 west of Pensacola, I-75 at Jennings (near Lake City) and I-95 north of Yulee (near Jacksonville). Another center is located at the west entrance of the State Capitol Building in Tallahassee. Each center is staffed by personnel who have undergone rigorous training to receive national Information Specialist certification. Along with in-person information, Welcome Center visitors learn about the state’s diverse destinations.
In an effort to build on the success of our hospitality and demonstrate our desire to further welcome visitors traveling with small children, each of the four highway Welcome Centers has a designated area for visitors traveling with children. VISIT FLORIDA Kid's Corner offers a play area to educate and entertain the children while the parents get the travel information they need from the Welcome Center staff.
The Official Florida Welcome Centers also provide Official Florida Transportation Maps to all visitors (or click here to order a map and VISIT FLORIDA Magazine in advance of your visit).
Our highway Welcome Centers offer clean, well maintained restroom facilities and all are handicapped accessible. Vending machines and payphones are on-site. Designated areas in each parking lot accommodate large bus, RV and truck parking.
Florida I-75 Welcome Center Rest Stop, Orlando & Cocoa Beach | Adventure Different
Cocoa Beach is a city in Brevard County, Florida. The population was 11,231 at the 2010 United States Census. It is part of the Palm Bay-Melbourne-Titusville, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The first non-native settlement in the area was by a family of freed slaves following the American Civil War. In 1888, a group of men from Cocoa bought the entire tract of land, which went undeveloped until it was bought out in 1923 by a member of the group—Gus Edwards, Cocoa's city attorney. At that time, Edwards' total holdings included approximately 600 acres (240 ha), and he had stopped practicing law to devote all his efforts to developing the area.

Florida Welcome Centers Stop Serving Free Orange Juice
There's no more free Florida Orange Juice at Florida Welcome Centers. After nearly 70 years, the Florida Department of Citrus didn't renew their contract and stopped giving free orange juice to promote tourism and good will. Now all you get is free maps and brochures. Florida Welcome Centers still offer clean restrooms, dog walks, tourist information and vending machines. Major Florida Welcome Centers are located at 1247 Interstate 75, Jennings, FL 32053 and 751829 Interstate 95, Yulee, FL 3209 have stopped serving free orange juice. Write the Florida Department of Citrus to reinstate free Florida Orange Juice like this video, filmed shortly before Visit Florida cancelled the service, at: Florida Department of Citrus 605 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830. Telephone Florida Department of Citrus at (863) 537-3999 to bring orange juice back to Florida Welcome Centers.

1617 Hardeeville, South Carolina to Port Wentworth, Georgia
Scenic drive from Miami to Key West, Florida, USA
We decided to take a day trip down to the southernmost point in mainland United States, Key West.
The drive takes you along Highway 1 Overseas Highway and passes through some 40+ islands before reaching Key West. Journey time from Miami to Key West is approximately 4 hours, but you pass through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.
The Overseas Highway is a single lane Highway which passes over on one side, the Atlantic Ocean and on the other side, the Gulf of Mexico.
You basically cross from Mainland Florida and into the Caribbean without flying and the transition happens within minutes of starting the journey over the Overseas Highway. You see the sea turn all different shades of blue and all the way to an emerald colour.
This is the full journey from the Florida Turnpike all the way to Duval Street in the centre of Key West.
Enjoy!

Drive ORLANDO to MIAMI the unusual way! Via Okeechobee
The drive Orlando to Miami normally takes about 3 hours with no traffic, but we chose a very unusual route for this road trip: via Okeechobee. The Orlando to Miami drive is simple and easy but has tolls. We went via Okeechobee to avoid the charges, but mainly to get some cheap accommodation for a work week. Here's a little bit of the real life of a travel journalist.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.
