DeOtis Nunn is a rising 8th grader who put on a show with his ball handling skills and passing ability at the 2018 EBC Arizona Camp. The Class of 2022 guard uses his hesitation move and handles to create shots in small spaces. Nunn is a good outside shooter but he is most effective when he penetrates the defense and makes plays in the lane.

Ft. Benning 3-Gun, M14 & Todd's Rifle Positions | Shooting USA

It’s the only pistol, rifle, and shotgun challenge held on an active duty Army Base. If run-and-gun stage challenges are simulated combat, it doesn’t get any more real than when the Army Marksmanship Unit sets up the challenges and adds full-auto fire and Abrams Tanks! Civilians who compete at the Fort Benning Three-Gun Match are forced to utilize hardware from the Army’s vast inventory, which includes wearing an Army-issue gas mask on one stage, and shooting the M249-SAW, or Squad Automatic Weapon, on another.

Plus the enhanced Garand! The firepower advantage of the M1 prevailed during World War Two, but combat service arms were advancing to select fire. So, work began on a replacement that turned out to be the U.S. Service Rifle M14, and is now one of History’s Guns.

River Town Days is Here! March 8-10, 2019

River Town Days is Bainbridge, Ga. is the perfect to experience a family friendly event right on the Flint River

Here in South Georgia most people know Bainbridge as one of the small towns you pass through on the way to Apalachicola, Panama City and the Florida coast. A city of less than 13k people with a county size of around 30k, Bainbridge is quickly becoming a destination point. Ideally located only an hour away from Albany, Thomasville, Tallahassee and Dothan, Bainbridge hosts River Town Days. River Town Days started back in 2003 as a local event and has grown to be a regional draw.

Kids’ Events
Always held on the 2nd weekend of March, River Town Days has a little bit of something for everyone. The event is free for everyone in order to encourage as many visitors as possible, from all walks of life. Kids are well taken care of with a carnival that features “bull rides”, fair-style rides and face painting. Play Bainbridge, the recreational authority, has also joined in and will be hosting a canoe race, bike race and a 5k run. FLW Fishing Tournament
One of the biggest events being brought to River Town Days is the FLW Fishing Tournament. Fishing League Worldwide will bring more than 150 fishermen to the area. That influx of people will be a huge boon to the local economy by packing hotels, restaurants and shopping centers. The FLW Expo will feature sponsors, vendors, games and giveaways. Fishermen will even be teaching fishing classes to kids.

Music and Alcohol
A festival isn’t complete without music and River Town Days delivers. Featured bands play all types of music from country to 50’s, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Beer will also be sold on site and no outside coolers or alcohol will be allowed into the festival. Make sure to have your ID on you so that you can grab an armband for entry into the Beer Garden. The headliner is a Georgia legend, Colt Ford.

Hot Air Balloon
The highlight of the festival for many will be the tethered Hot Air Balloon ride. This opportunity doesn’t happen much so don’t miss out! The photo opportunity is only $20 and is only on Saturday from 330-630.

The Confederate States Army (C.S.A.) was the military land force of the Confederate States of America (Confederacy) during the American Civil War (1861–1865), fighting against the Union forces. On February 28, 1861, the Provisional Confederate Congress established a provisional volunteer army and gave control over military operations and authority for mustering state forces and volunteers to the newly chosen Confederate president, Jefferson Davis. Davis was a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy, and colonel of a volunteer regiment during the Mexican–American War. He had also been a United States Senator from Mississippi and U.S. Secretary of War under President Franklin Pierce. On March 1, 1861, on behalf of the Confederate government, Davis assumed control of the military situation at Charleston, South Carolina, where South Carolina state militia besieged Fort Sumter in Charleston harbor, held by a small U.S. Army garrison. By March 1861, the Provisional Confederate Congress expanded the provisional forces and established a more permanent Confederate States Army.
An accurate count of the total number of individuals who served in the Confederate Army is not possible due to incomplete and destroyed Confederate records; estimates of the number of individual Confederate soldiers are between 750,000 and 1,000,000 men. This does not include an unknown number of slaves who were pressed into performing various tasks for the army, such as construction of fortifications and defenses or driving wagons. Since these figures include estimates of the total number of individual soldiers who served at any time during the war, they do not represent the size of the army at any given date. These numbers do not include men who served in Confederate States Navy.
Although most of the soldiers who fought in the American Civil War were volunteers, both sides by 1862 resorted to conscription, primarily as a means to force men to register and to volunteer. In the absence of exact records, estimates of the percentage of Confederate soldiers who were draftees are about double the 6 percent of United States soldiers who were conscripts.Confederate casualty figures also are incomplete and unreliable. The best estimates of the number of deaths of Confederate soldiers are about 94,000 killed or mortally wounded in battle, 164,000 deaths from disease and between 26,000 and 31,000 deaths in United States prison camps. One estimate of Confederate wounded, which is considered incomplete, is 194,026.
