The Fortress Builders - Fortifications Interpretation Centre
The FIC forms part of the Restoration Directorate which falls under the Ministry of Justice, Culture and Local Government
The FIC was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund
It is a public institution dedicated specifically to communicating and exhibiting the history and significance of Malta's military architecture heritage. It is a cross between a museum, an information point and a resource centre.
Opening Hours: 16th June- 30th September 9:00-13:00
Tuesday and Thursday open till 16:00
1st October - 15th June Monday to Friday 10:00-16:00
Tuesday and Thursday open till 19:00

The Magic of Valletta
The sights and sounds of Valletta - its streets and squares, churches and Auberges, museums, gardens, formidable fortifications and magnificent ports. Valletta is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and was selected as the European Capital of Culture for 2018!
The video starts around Valletta's peripheral road from the Marsamxett side, past Fort St. Elmo and the Mediterranean Conference Centre to the Grand Harbour side and through the Lower and Upper Barrakka Gardens. We then criss-cross along its grid-pattern streets visiting all the churches, museums, Auberges and other buildings. Below are some of the highlights.
