Harrods is a department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London, England. It is owned by the state of Qatar via its sovereign wealth fund, the Qatar Investment Authority. The Harrods brand also applies to other enterprises undertaken by the Harrods group of companies including Harrods Estates, Harrods Aviation, and Air Harrods, and to Harrods Buenos Aires, sold by Harrods in 1922 and closed as of 2011.
Fortnum & Mason (colloquially often shortened to just Fortnum's) is an upmarket department store in Piccadilly, London, with additional stores at St Pancras railway station and Heathrow Airport in London, as well as various stockists worldwide. Its headquarters are located at 181 Piccadilly, where it was established in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason. Today, it is privately owned by Wittington Investments Limited. Founded as a grocery store, Fortnum's reputation was built on supplying quality food and saw rapid growth throughout the Victorian era. Though Fortnum's developed into a department store, it continues to focus on stocking a variety of exotic, specialty and also 'basic' provisions. The store has since opened several other departments, such as the Gentlemen's department on the third floor. It is also the location of a tea shop and several restaurants.

LONDON'S MUST VISIT SPOTS! (Sketch Tea, Harrods, Fortnum & Mason) - RomeAroundTheWorld Day 2
London for only 24 hours and I tried to make the most of it. Coincidentally I had more friends visiting London at the time, so I met up with them and had afternoon tea at a popular place called Sketch (so good! watch the video). Afterwards we checked out 2 well known shopping places specific to London: Harrods and Fortnum & Mason. Since I'm headed to Italy early the next day, I made my way to Gatwick airport to stay at a hotel in the terminal. Watch out for the next vlog!

Fortnum & Mason Afternoon Tea ????London
12.11.16 Celebrated Daddy's birthday with an afternoon tea at the Fortnum & Mason Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon, St. James Restaurant, 181 Piccadilly London. We were booked for 17:45 hr with maximum stay of 2 hours. Starting with a complimentary Tearista Experience or Tea-tasting experience to fully understand the different types of tea and how it is processed. Tea of choice will be serve with delicate sandwiches, exquisite cakes, Fortnum's scones with Somerset clotted cream, Strawberry preserve/Lemon curd and are all refillable. The Fortnum's shop closes at 9pm so we have enough time to go around. Definitely 10 out of 10 customer service. We thought we were inside a palace and not a shop or a restaurant. What an amazing experience. We hope to come back soon.
