Frogner Stadion - Home of Speed skating and Figure Skating in the World.

The stadium reopens after a year rehabilitation with Nationals in Speed Skating Dec 18th-19th 2010.
The stadium are the home The Axel and Axel Paulsen ( First World Champion in Figure Skating) - The Queen of Queens in Figure Skating : Sonja Henie ( 3 Olympic Gold medals,10 times World Champion and 6 times European Champion) - The King of Speed Skating : Oscar Mathisen, together with many other World and European Champions and medalists in speed skating
The stadium are also the home of Norways and probably the worlds oldest skating club - Oslo Skating Club ( Estb. 1864) and the Norwegian Skating Museum.

Standing still is difficult. Standing still on a freshly groomed ice skating rink is not much easier. We took on the #MannequinChallenge at Frogner stadion ice skating rink.

Frogner Park (Norwegian: Frognerparken) is a public park located in the borough of Frogner in Oslo, Norway,[1] and is historically part of Frogner Manor. The manor house is located in the south of the park, and houses the Oslo City Museum. Frogner Park contains, in its present centre, the well-known Vigeland installation a permanent sculpture installation created by Gustav Vigeland.

Her bruker trikken over fire ganger så lang tid som normalt på noen få hundre meter. Det er behov for egen trasé, slik det er i motsatt retning. Fjern gateparkeringen! Det gjør det også tryggere for syklistene. Ingen signalprioritering i krysset Middelthuns gate x Kirkeveien er en del av denne forsinkelsen.

Første kamp i 4. divisjon, avdeling A. Lyn mot Lokomotiv Oslo. Opptaket er fra tidlig i 2. omgang på Frogner Stadion. Lyn vant kampen 6-0. Tilskuerantall: 1922!

The largest park in central parts of Oslo and a popular recreational area for people from all over the city.
Inside the park you find Vigeland Sculpture Park, one of Oslo's most popular attractions.
On a nice day the park is full of people; here you can go for a run, walk the dog, have a picnic or barbecue, play badminton or just enjoy the sun. Frogner Park has Norway's biggest collection of roses; a total of 14,000 plants of 150 different species.
Frogner Stadium and Frognerbadet open-air pool are located in the corner of the park that faces Majorstua. In the corner near Frogner plass you can visit Frogner Manor House and the Museum of Oslo.
The park has a café and a restaurant open in summer, and children can play on Norway's biggest playground, located near the main entrance.
The Vigeland Park is the world's largest sculpture park made by a single artist, and is one of Norway's most popular tourist attractions. The park is open to visitors all year round.
The unique sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland's lifework with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron. Vigeland was also in charge of the design and architectural layout of the park. The Vigeland Park was mainly completed between 1939 and 1949.
Most of the sculptures are placed in five units along an 850 meter long axis: The Main gate, the Bridge with the Children's playground, the Fountain, the Monolith plateau and the Wheel of Life.
