名古屋市営地下鉄「伏見駅」の東改札口と直結している、昭和32年開業のノスタルジックな地下街を歩いてきました。伏見地下街または長者町横丁と呼ばれています。
昭和32年開業の伏見地下街は全長約240mに38店が並び、昔ながらの喫茶店や衣料品店の他、近年ではお洒落なハンバーガー屋やベトナムフード、さらにせんべろブームもあってか新しい立ち飲み屋が次々とOPENしています。
女性一人でも気軽に立ち寄れる立ち飲み屋さんが多いのでちょい飲みのはしご酒を楽しむには最高の環境ですね。地下鉄駅直結なので終電を逃すこともありませんよ！
※人が少なくて寂しい地下街やな～と思われそうなので補足を。撮影日は土曜日の午前中で、おそらく伏見地下街としては一番人が少ない時間帯だと思われます(日曜・祝日は閉鎖)。地上はオフィス街なので平日の夜は仕事帰りの方で賑わっているのでご安心を。

I have been walking in the nostalgic underground shopping mall that opened in 1964, which is directly linked to the East ticket gate of the Nagoya municipal subway Fushimi station. It is called Fushimi underground shopping area or Chojamacho alley.

Nostalgic inspirations: Walking from Kamimaezu to Fushimi (Nagoya)
There is no music or speaking in this video, as I just wanted to share with you an example of the type of scenery and environment that inspire my photography and mood.
The walk is from Kamimaezu to Fushimi station in downtown Nagoya. We will walk past a local shrine and the famous Osu Kannon Temple. Following that, a quick stroll through Shirakawakoen Park as I make my way to Nagoya City Science Museum.
There are many places that I get inspiration from, and I feel as though this video effectively captures the environment and atmosphere. So, I would like to make more like this to provide more context for my work, and to also serve as a record.

名古屋駅から徒歩7～8分程の場所にある、串かつや味噌おでん等が頂ける老舗の立ち飲みやセンベロ系居酒屋、さらに最近のチェーン居酒屋が密集する場所をご存知でしょうか？
ネットで調べると「名駅2丁目串カツストリート」と呼ばれているそうですが、名駅ビル群のすぐ近くにまるで大阪西成のような雰囲気のあるセンベロ居酒屋が集まっていて、近くで働くビジネスマンや出張族の方を中心にいつも賑わっています。

Walk around Nagoya Underground shopping center ESKA 名古屋地下街エスカを歩いてみた
毎年何度か名古屋行ってるのですが、Gopro買って初めての名古屋で色々と撮ってきました。エスカの駅前の地下街で小さいですが、名古屋名物は一通りありますね。

First photo was taken a few minutes past 9 A.M., at a local coffee chain called Doutor (these are located all across Japan). This particular store is located in a place called Fushimi in Nagoya (not to be confused with Fushimi in Kyoto).
Second photo was taken at Nagoya Station looking down from the mezzanine level. You can see the large Takashimaya department store on the left. Being a Friday night, the place is quite crowded.
Third photo was taken across the road from a famous building near Nagoya Station known as the Mode Gakuen Bldg. It is known for its unique architectural design. As you can probably tell, it was raining.
Photographs were taken using a Nikon D500 combined with a Tokina 11-16 mm lens ultra-wide angle lens (which I absolutely adore, and don't use enough).
Images were captured in RAW format, and processed in Adobe Lightroom. Video was compiled in Premiere Pro.

【散歩】名古屋駅から3分！ノスタルジックな駅西銀座商店街(駅裏)を歩く【名古屋】 Walk at Ekinishi-Ginza Nostalgic street , Nagoya JAPAN.
名古屋駅の太閤口(新幹線口・西口)から徒歩3分とは思えない、通称、駅裏と呼ばれる地域にあるレトロな雰囲気漂う駅西銀座商店街を歩いてきました。
反対側の桜通口(東口)は大名古屋ビルヂング、KITTE、JRゲートタワーなど次々と新しい商業ビルがOPENし今もなお発展をし続けていますが、この駅西銀座はまるで時が止まったかのよう。
昔は大門へ遊びに行く観光客もいて賑わっていたと聞きましたが、今はシャッター通りと化し新しくマンションや住宅が立ち並び商店街の風情も消えつつあるようです。
これからリニア中央新幹線の開通に向けた再開発で駅裏一帯がどのように変化していくのか分かりませんが再び活気が戻ればと願っています。

名古屋駅東口から徒歩で5～10分というアクセス抜群の柳橋中央市場(マルナカ食品センター、中央水産ビル、名古屋綜合市場他)を歩いてきました。この規模の市場で都心の一等地にあるのは全国的にも珍しいかもしれません。
卸市場なので基本はお店や料理人などプロの方が仕入れに来る場所ですが一般の利用者にも開放されていて買い物を楽しむ事が出来ます。場内にある飲食店では安くて美味しい新鮮な市場グルメも楽しめますよ。
柳橋市場の中で最も活気のあるマルナカ食品センターでは場内見学ツアーが開催されているそうなので利用してみるのもよさそう。中央水産ビルが2019年10月で閉鎖することになりました…。
