NEW ORLEANS LOUISIANA 7TH WARD HOOD DRIVE THROUGH
Exploring the 7th Ward, Lower 7th Ward and St. Claude neighborhoods of New Orleans, Louisiana. Side view camera angle to capture the housing. The roads were extremely bumpy in places, some potholes were large enough for people to lay in.
Streets/avenues included in this video are: St Bernard, Marais, Frenchmen, N Villere, Mandeville, N Roman, Clouet, Burgundy & Montegut.
The 7th Ward is a section of New Orleans, Louisiana. It is geographically the second largest of the 17 Wards of New Orleans, after the 9th Ward.
The 7th Ward stretches from the Mississippi River to Lake Pontchartrain. The eastern, or lower boundary is Elysian Fields Avenue, the boundary with the 8th Ward. In the up-river direction to the south-west, the boundary is Esplanade Avenue, the border with the 6th Ward; then from where Esplanade meets Bayou St. John the boundary follows the bayou north to the lake, with the 5th Ward being across the bayou.

US Heritage Group Training at Gallier Hall
NEW ORLEANS – August 27-28, 2018 Mario Machnicki has provided training for local masonry contractors who will be working on the exterior restoration of Gallier Hall.
The training included a classroom lecture about the history of masonry materials and appropriate techniques for restoration and on-site workshop where the masons were trained on how to use the masonry products, tips on installation, and an inspection of work to confirm proper techniques.
All craftsmen were awarded official training certificates from US Heritage Group showing successful completion of the training program.
WHO: Mario Machnicki (Founder and President of Marion Restoration and US Heritage Group), received his engineering degree from the College of Technology in Radom, Poland. With over 30 years of masonry building and restoration experience, Mario is considered one of the world’s foremost masonry experts.
Marion Restoration: Over 35 years’ experience providing a variety of services in masonry restoration and conservation. During these years the company has earned a reputation as one of the top masonry preservation and restoration firms in the country. With a senior staff with combined masonry experience of over 100 years, the company has worked on over a thousand historical projects in the Chicagoland area and surrounding states.
US Heritage Group: Marion Restoration’s sister company offers products and services in support of masonry restoration projects. US Heritage addresses the full life cycle of masonry, from condition assessment, mortar matching and architectural specification review to on-site contractor training, custom pre-blended historic mortar and stone restoration product manufacturing.
