Kinvara, Galway, Ireland * Exploring the village and Dungaire Castle
Kinvara is a small fishing village located about 30 minutes South of Galway city. It was once a thriving port where turf from Connemara was traded as well as seaweed harvested for fertilizing the land. Every summer there is a festival called Cruinniu na mbad celebrating the old boats that use to dock here.
We explored the village, Dungaire castle and went to the beach.

From my visit to Galway city. A quick visit. :-) Various places around the city. We walked around the city center, along the harbor, along the river, etc. We saw the university buildings. Nice. Hope to get back there one day. :-)
