Lets go shopping together at the Gangnam Underground Shopping mall! This is where you can find some bargain deals on Gangnam style clothing! This is a great place to shop on a cold, rainy or snowy winter day in Seoul. It's underground and you don't even have to leave the train station. I'll give you my honest review of the shops as well as tips on bargaining, prices, and clothing sizes in this mall.
To get to the Gangnam underground shopping mall (강남역 지하도상가) you can take the train to Gangnam Station (Seoul Subway line 2) and go out of pretty much any exit. The shopping mall is right there when you walk out of the turnstyle.

Gangnam Underground Shopping Center (강남역지하 쇼핑센터) - ???????? SEOUL WALK
In this episode, we show you a little of the famous Gangnam Underground Shopping Center!
This is located at Gangnam Station, in the heart of all the famous K-pop, K-Drama, rich & famous stuff of Seoul. If you want to hang out or see famous people, this is where you go! They all live and work around this area. It's very common to run into famous Korean stars on these streets, especially the main street that we show at the end of the video.
This underground shopping district is very popular, especially with young women. It's what you see when you get off the subway, so you have to actually walk through it in order to get out and up to the street level. In the video, I mention that there's probably only 1 male clothing shop in a corner somewhere. Yes, indeed, I was correct. There was only 1 male clothes store, near the food court. And like I guessed, there were no sales, and all the clothes were overpriced. Welcome to shopping in Korea as a young man.
The shopping center is choke full of beauty products, trendy clothing for young women, cell phone shops, fashion accessories, and other cool things that are hip and trendy at the moment.

In Gangnam Station, there is a huge underground shopping area.
Most of clothes here are very cheap and the quality of them are also very good. So me and my friend, Mandu from WaegukinKorea channel did a very fun challenge here. It was looking for clothes that are very similar to Jenny’s (BlackPink) outfits. Would it be possible to dress up like a K-pop star for just 50,000 won?

Hoehyeon Underground Shopping Center (회현지하 쇼핑센터) - ???????? SEOUL WALK
In this episode of SEOUL WALK, I show you around the Hoehyeon (pronounced 'ho-eh-hyun') Underground Shopping Center, located underground between the famous Namdaemun Market and the famous Myeong-dong shopping district!
During my walk around, I heard someone call my name. Turns out an awesome Subscriber, named Syn, noticed me walking around filming! We chatted for a bit, found out him and his girlfriend were visiting Seoul from Atlanta, Georgia. He was such a cool dude, and we even lived in the same areas up in Arlington, VA so we knew a lot of the same places.
Because he was so chill and awesome, I wanted to have him join me for the rest of the walk around inside the underground shopping area.

This underground shopping center is a small-to-medium sized underground market in Korea. There are MUCH larger ones, with WAY more people, and there are MANY of them!
