The Seven Sisters Houses - New Orleans, Louisiana
Located in the historic garden district of New Orleans. Legend has it that the seven nearly identical shotgun houses occupying the 2300 block of Coliseum Street were built for seven sisters. In fact they were the first speculation houses in the city, and some of the first in the United States. Though renovations have blurred the family resemblance, the homes are structurally distinguished only by the front galleries: some are Greek Revival, some Italianate.

America's Most Haunted - French Quarter, New Orleans (Halloween 2012)
Take a haunted tour of New Orleans and learn about the story of ghosts.
Hi. My name is Sidney Smith. I am the owner of Haunted History Tour, here in New Orleans. Tonight, you are going to be taking the Haunted History Tour. With your tour guide, Renee Lazair.
Hello. My name is Renee Lazair. Today we will be taking a walking tour of the French quarter. The sights of actual documented hauntings. Folks, we are here at the number one most haunted building in the French quarter. This behind me right here is the La Lare' mansion. Also known as The Blight of New Orleans. 1830s a woman by the name of Delfine La Lare' inhierited 3 million dollars from her grandparents. She used that fortune to purchase this mansion, she moves in with her doctor husband. Dr. Luis Leonard La Lare'. So great was her taste that she had the entire first floor gutted out and converted into a ballroom. Complete with an Italian marble floor.
Over the years, during her parties, people noticed she like disappeared and show up in an entirely new dress. Well, her last night in New Orleans, it would be revealed why she was having to change her dress. Mid-way through a party, fire breaks out in the kitchen, which is now the parking garage. Fire department enters and they quickly put out the small grease fire. But they over hear the slaves talking about the atrocities going on inside. They exit the kitchen, enter the ballroom, empty all the party guests out onto this sidewalk, much like you are all standing right now. Of course the fire fighters they enter this building and make their way up to the third floor. There they make a very ghastly discovery. One room, several victims in various states of torture.
First, the which is a woman face down on the floor. Her arms and legs have been surgically removed from her one by one. Found a woman inside of a box. Had to take this box apart to get her out of it. That is when they realized that her bones and joints had been broken and dislocated so she could be folded up and put into that box. Two men are shackled against the wall. Both their faces horribly disfigured. Only thing keeping them alive, the maggots. Last person found is a woman. No cuts or marks or bruises, but visibly shaken. Fire fighters unlock her. Instead of her thanking them for setting her free from these people, she takes off running. Comes crashing out of that window, which you now see bricked up on the third floor. On her way down her neck hits the gally railing snapping her neck, flopping her dead in the street in front of all the party guests. I cannot wait for Halloween.

The Ghost of Mona Lisa Drive in Haunted City Park New Orleans
In New Orleans City Park, there is a spot that no longer exists but has a bizarre and eerie backstory. What is known as Mona Lisa Drive or Mona Lisa Lane was a cul-de-sac with a statue honoring a girl that died near there. When the statue was damaged and removed, her ghost began haunting the park.

4. Virginia City, Nevada
Explore the entire well preserved ghost town of Virginia City, that we mentioned on our most haunted places in the US video. Besides some of the modern day vehicles, this place is exactly the way it was over 100 years ago and it’s the most haunted place in Nevada. Some ghost towns are quite as accessible on google maps, and this is one of the more detailed ones we were able to find. Ignore the motorcycles and get a good feel for how historic site would have looked, when miners were sifting the the hills in search of gold. Drop into the Silver Terrace cemetery for a creepy flash from the past! While we're on the subject of ghost towns, we’d like to mention that the city of Pripyat is available now for street view, but since nature has basically taken over the land again, it’s difficult to see anything because of the trees
3. Mobile, Alabama
Mobile Alabama might not get too much attention when it comes to exploring on google maps but it’s actually one of the oldest cities in the US. Originally settled by the French, it was deemed the original capital of the Louisiana territory in 1702. It has a large number of historic neighborhood that can get a little creepy to explore sometimes. There’s just something about the trees and the old civil war style mansions on government street that you might find unsettling. But that’s not it, if you venture to the northwest part of town, it appears as though a zombie is glaring at the google streets car. In the abandoned parking lot of a laundromat, someone is all by themselves just standing there for now reason. Also if you got time, you can actually walk on to the USS Alabama that’s been retired in the Mobile River. This was one of the most prolific battleships, that shot down dozens of japanese aircraft during world war II without ever getting a scratch in return.
2. Bogotá, Colombia
The capital city of Bogota is one of the most dangerous cities in the world and we’re still pretty surprised the google street car had the courage to drive through some neighborhoods here! If you visit the neighborhood of Altos de Cazuca, you’re going to see one of the most neglected areas in south america. The area is run by local gangs certainly aren’t afraid to get violent. The streets are not paved, there’s quite a bit of pollution, graffiti, you name it.You can also venture off to central Bogota for some virtual exploring and check out La Concordia district. The chances of getting kidnapped in Colombia are greater than anywhere else in the world. So it’s better to check this place out on google maps and maybe you can spot some shady activity.
1. Detroit Michigan
Everyone knows that the city of Detroit, Michigan has been going through a rough time and many have fled their homes. This makes it quite the creepy place to explore, without having to feel as though you’re in danger. Not only are there an abundance of creepy abandoned places, this is also the arson capital of the world and no city burns quite like Detroit. So don’t be surprised if you come across some burnt buildings here. As you explore through this city in urban decay, you might not realize at first glance that some places are abandoned, until you look behind some of the trees that have grown in front of them. In the neighborhood of Ravendale 2 out of every 3 houses are abandoned. Some sources even claim you can buy an entire house here for 1000 dollars. It’s chilling to see how some gardens are well kept right next to ones that have become simply out of control!. What’s this Corvette doing here! Something seems suspicious! The Neighborhood of Northwest Goldberg was also quite prosperous at one point in time but all you’ll see now are graffitied buildings and abandoned buildings. It almost seems as though this city will never be the bustling motor city it once was

Route 66 guardian
During our drive through route 66 we stumbled upon a random statue siting on the side of the road. Could this be the route 66 guardian? During the same visit we ran into a fun “tie tree” filled with dress ties.
