Colorado Experience: Bent's Fort
During the height of the Fur Trade, Bent's Fort established itself as one of the most important trading posts in the West - an area which remained largely unexplored by the then -young-and-growing United States. Located along the Arkansas River, Bent's Fort lay only a few yards from what was then Mexico. As the only major permanent settlement along the Santa Fe Trail, it served as a hub of commercial and cultural exchange for Cheyenne and Arapahoe Plains Indians and American trappers, and a stopping point for the US Army, explorers and settlers. Bent's Fort's prominence was short-lived, however; a cholera epidemic devastated the Indian population and caused founder William Bent to abandon the fort in 1849. Salvaging what they could and burning the remainder, Bent's New Fort was built in 1852 in Big Timbers. This episode of Colorado Experience takes you to the original site of Bent's Old Fort, now a National Historic Landmark, where state historians recreate what it was like to visit this castle on the plains.

CODY SNODGRES RE BLACK OPS WITH OLE DAMMEGARD
An interview with Black Ops Whistleblower, Cody Snodgres with investigator/author Ole Dammegard Wednesday, December 6th @ 1pm PT.
From Ole Dammegard: …”
Dear Kerry,
…”After 22 years of silence, my friend and former independent Black Ops Contractor Cody Snodgres, has decided to step forward as a whistleblower. In 1994 he was offered 1 000 000 USD by the CIA to bomb the Alfred P. Murrah Building in Oklahoma City. When he turned it down, he went from being an asset to a liability and the agency then tried to kill him on several occasions. Two times he died, but hospital staff managed to bring him back to life. This will also cover Cody’s experience with black ops and money laundered through the Clinton and Bush crime families.”–paraphrased message from Ole Dammegard

Anasazi
The anasazi
There homes were made out of stones, clay, mud, and adobe brick. There homes had many floors and levels. At the bottom level there is no door but there is a latter to climb up to get in from the top.
As a part of there religion they had underground circular rooms called kivas for ceremonies.
What they ate was corn, beans, and squash and hunted deer, rabbits and prairie dogs. They would grind their food in a mestate, which is a big stone. Then they had corn flour or corn meal to cook with.
They were farmers that grew corn, beans, and squash. They had special places to keep corn safe. They saved their food in storage with lids.
Pots and cooking utensils for Anasazi were clay pots, sticks and stones. They made pots with clay. They made hand coil pots from clay and mud they collected. They made them pretty with designs on them. They were really good basket makers. They made baskets and bags from fibers.
Their clothes was woven by yucca fibers, turkey feathers, and bunny fur. As time went by they made clothes with cotton.
For their art they had pictographs painted designs on the walls of rock in their caves and homes. A famous god of the Anasazi is called Kokopelli. He is a hunch back flute player. He is painted often in their art and carvings.
They carved petropglyph pictures in rocks. One famous rock is called the newspaper, because it looks like so much information on one rock, like a newspaper.
They left their cliff homes. They left all their things like they were going to come back. But no one knows where they went. They have descendants in the Pueblo people today. I hope you learned lots form this report.
Goodbye!

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Manitoba ( (listen)) is a province at the longitudinal centre of Canada. It is often considered one of the three prairie provinces (with Alberta and Saskatchewan) and is Canada's fifth-most populous province with its estimated 1.3 million people. Manitoba covers 649,950 square kilometres (250,900 sq mi) with a widely varied landscape, stretching from the northern oceanic coastline to the southern border with the United States. The province is bordered by the provinces of Ontario to the east and Saskatchewan to the west, the territories of Nunavut to the north, and Northwest Territories to the northwest, and the U.S. states of North Dakota and Minnesota to the south.
Aboriginal peoples have inhabited what is now Manitoba for thousands of years. In the late 17th century, fur traders arrived on two major river systems, what is now called the Nelson in northern Manitoba and in the southeast along the Winnipeg River system. A Royal Charter in 1670 granted all the lands draining into Hudson's Bay to the British company and they administered trade in what was then called Rupert's Land. During the next 200 years, communities continued to grow and evolve, with a significant settlement of Michif in what is now Winnipeg. The assertion of Métis identity and self-rule culminated in negotiations for the creation of the province of Manitoba. There are many factors that led to an armed uprising of the Métis people against the Government of Canada, a conflict known as the Red River Rebellion. The resolution of the assertion of the right to representation led to the Parliament of Canada passing the Manitoba Act in 1870 that created the province.
Manitoba's capital and largest city, Winnipeg, is the eighth-largest census metropolitan area in Canada. Other census agglomerations in the province are Brandon, Steinbach, Portage la Prairie, and Thompson.
