Garh Ganesh Temple is an ancient temple of Lord Ganesh in the city of Jaipur.[1] It is located on the hills near Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort.
Garh Ganesha temple is devoted to Lord Ganesha. It is believed[by whom?] that Ganesha is present in the temple in the form of small child – Purushakriti. Located at the top in the Aravali hills, close to the Nahargarh hill. In the Garh Ganesha temple, Lord Ganesha is established in the statue of child Ganesha – Vigra Purushakriti (without trunk).
The temple was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh .

Every devotee who comes here after seeing the hair form of Ganesh ji located on the Nahargarh hill of the city becomes fascinated. People are amazed at seeing Ganesha without a trumpet. This is the only temple in the country where there is a statue of Ganesha without a trunk. This ancient temple of Ganesh ji is in Jaipur, Rajasthan's capital. This temple is famous as the Garh Ganesh. With the blessings of Ganesh ji, the foundation of Jaipur was laid.
On the hill of Nahargarh, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh had done Ashwameh Yajna and duly established this statue of Ganesh Ji. After this, the foundation of Jaipur was laid. Standing beside the temple, seeing the whole of Jaipur's panoramic view. This temple is a princely state and it is about 350 years old. It is forbidden to take pictures of the idol in the temple. Ganapati has been honored in the temple in such a way that he is clearly visible from the telescope with the Indra Mahal of the City Palace. It is said that from the Indra Mahal, Maharaja used to visit the telescope to see God.
Every day a ladder was constructed to reach this temple. Thus, construction continued throughout the year and 365 stairs were built. Anyone who goes through these stairs, passes through the stairs seen in 12 months and 365 days. On reaching this temple, there is a Shiva temple on the way in which the entire Shiva Parivaar is seated.
Devotees come from the corners of the country without seeing the Ganesha statue without the trunk It is said that every motivation sought from the fortress Ganesha is fulfilled. Two mice are installed in the temple premises, in whose ear the devotees tell their wishes, and the rats carry those desires to Bal Ganesh. Since photography is strictly prohibited in the temple premises, in this way we are not able to show you the photo of Bal Ganesh Ji.

गढ़ गणेश मंदिर भगवान गणेश को समर्पित है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि मंदिर में छोटे बच्चे - पुरुषाकृष्ण के रूप में hai. सूंड भगवान गजानन की पहचान है, लेकिन एक मंदिर ऐसा भी है जहां भगवान गजानन के सूंड नहीं है। यहां उनके की बाल रूप की पूजा होती है। यहां गणेशजी की पुरुषाकृति प्रतिमा विराजमान है। इस बिना सूंड वाले गणेश जी मान्यता काफी है और हर बुधवार का यहां बड़ी संख्या में भक्त भगवान गजानन के दर्शन के लिए पहुंचते हैं। बिना सूंड वाले गणेशजी का यह प्राचीन मंदिर राजस्थान की राजधानी जयपुर में है। शहर के उत्तर में अरावली की पहाड़ी पर मुकुट जैसा यह मंदिर नजर आता है। यह मंदिर गढ़ गणेश के नाम से विख्यात है। यह राजस्थान प्राचीन गणेश मंदिरों में से एक है।

Garh Ganesh Temple - A Trek Inside Pink City Jaipur | Jaipur Vlog # 01
This is first vlog of my Jaipur series. In this video I tried to cover a small trek that leads to famous Garh Ganesh temple of Jaipur, Rajasthan. This is an 18th-century temple of Lord Ganesh that is located on the hills near Nahargarh Fort.
Garh Ganesha temple is very special as here Lord Ganesha is established in the statue of child Ganesha – Vigra Purushakriti (without trunk). was built by Maharaja Jai Singh II when he performed the Ashwamegha Yagya before the establishment of Jaipur. He made the shrine and placed the statue of Lord Ganesha. After that he kept the foundation stone of Jaipur. He also kept the statue in such a way that Maharaja could be able to see the statue with the help of binoculars from the Chandra Mahal of City Palace, Jaipur. GarhGanesh also has ‘Dhwajadheesh’ Ganesha’s temple of Bari-Chaupar as its part.
Trek of the temple starts from near Gaitore Cenetophs or Gatiore Ki Chhatriyan , the royal cremation ground of the Kachhwaha Rajputs,
There are two ways to go to the temple, one which is by stairs is the hard one because of its steep climb, and the other one is easier so we, me and my younger bro Abhishek chose that.
Shooting is not allowed in the temple but you can see a splendid view of pink city from temple's roof in this video.
Temple Timings: 7:30 AM - 12 PM and 4 PM - 9.30 PM
