13. Royal Opera House (London, England)
Also known as Covent Garden in the neighborhood where it is located, it is the third theater to have been built in that place (the other two burned down). It is a theater with national and international renown.
12. Bolshoi Theater (Moscow, Russia)
It was inaugurated in 1825 with a ballet performance. After its last restoration, the Soviet sickle and hammer that adorned the upper part of its façade were removed. Instead, the two-headed eagle belonging to the original coat of arms of Russia was placed.
11. La Scala Theater (Milan, Italy)
La Scala is located in two different buildings. One of them caught fire after a carnival party and the other was bombed during World War II. Giussepe Verdi, the world-renowned composer, had a very close relationship with this theater, although he missed it because he considered that the orchestra modified his works.
10. Theater of San Carlos (Naples, Italy)
