MAGNIFICENT RESIDENCE - GRACIOUS AND ELEGANT- UNPARALLELD LUXURY
In Outeniquastrand, adjacent to Glentana on the Garden Route, 10 kilometers from George Airport, 25 km from George or Mossel Bay and overlooking the Indian Ocean beaches for 40 kilometers, this luxurious mansion presents a magnificent investment for a discerning and fastidious owner.
The three-level, 1000 square meter residence in a cul de sac on two erven presents full length glass frontage between concrete slabs to emphasize the unparalleled view from all rooms facing the ocean and the Mossel Bay peninsula. A large glass front door leads to the first six meter high entrance hall with ten large wall artifacts and a magnificent wide and curved African mahogany staircase or to the double garage with space for six vehicles behind a seven meter wide automated metal door. Each apartment bedroom has a small kitchenette with breakfast nook, a full luxurious bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and basin, as well as a large balcony beyond the full length glass frontage overlooking the ocean. The passage also leads to the unbelievable exterior entertainment area, the six meter high colonnades and a 40 000 liter rimflo pool.
From the second reception room, the Mahogany staircase lifts you to the third floor and the huge open plan main lounge and dining room with full length central fireplace in black ceramic, a seven seater bar in red Cherry wood and the dining room with a table seating for 14 diners. The spectacular view from the balcony cannot be described to do it true justice. The uninterrupted view of beaches and breakers stretches from Herholdts Bay to Mossel Bay Point This view is said by many to be the most splendid of all other properties in the area from where you can enjoy your wine while watching the antics of countless dolphins in the breakers and a wide variety of whales and their calves to be viewed without binoculars.
To the left is the large 35 sqm kitchen with central hob, breakfast nook, walk in pantry, scullery and kitchen balcony and almost unlimited cupboard space, also in Red Cherry wood finish with black tops below ample down lighters and two main dimmers above the hob. To the right you can walk down the wide passage to the guest bathroom with shower, bath, toilet and basin. The passage leads to three rooms that can be utilized as bedrooms, (one is fitted as a comprehensive office), or TV / utility rooms. Two of the three rooms overlook the full ocean view from full length glass frontage. Finally, the passage ends into the main bedroom and strong room. The bedroom is huge (11,5 by 7,5 sqm) with spectacular glass frontage overlooking the colonnades, entertainment area, deep blue pool, the ocean and Mossel Bay peninsula. It has a large separate shower below a glass skylight, a separate toilet and a state of the art bath and dual basins incorporated in the bedroom so that the ocean view can be enjoyed while bathing or shaving.
Slip through the bedroom skylight to the 370 square meter tiled roof for the coup de grace 270 degree views of the Indian Ocean and the untouched fynbos on the hill behind the house where small deer and wildlife abound. The large irrigated garden is terraced with lawns, permit cycads and about forty revolutas with sufficient lawn parking for six to eight cars using a second paved driveway. The entertainment area beside the pool has a table and seating for twenty diners beside the full height barbecue, pool store and guest toilet. The six meter reinforced concrete colonnades are built with concrete foundations large enough to allow the erection of a second house on the stand. The main residence is wheelchair friendly with a heavy duty hoist from the garage to all the floor levels. Air-conditioning, under-tile heating and roof-mounted fans provide adequate climate control in main living and sleeping areas.
The residence is situated in the center of the Garden Route, between a number of large and well known big five wildlife reserves and prestigious golf estates like Oubaai, (10 km) Fancourt (20 km) Pinnacle Point and Kingswood. It has the benefit of quiet coastal living within a few minutes' drive from several major shopping malls and an abundance of high quality restaurants for fine dining. Regular theatre performances take place with well- known local and international personalities.
