Video of downhill rides of route taken from Wikiloc ( Nice sceneries, great weather, crappy bikes from local rental which charged 2€ per hour! But, if You are there around and bored, this is an option to spend your day. Be prepared with extra tubes - we got two flat tyres - one uphill, one un the return way back to Prishtine.

I am fortunate in that one of the perks of my job is that I get to travel a fair bit. Recently that meant going to Prishtina in Kosovo. This is the third time I have visited that city now.
Whenever I have had to visit a place for work, I have immediately said to myself that I wanted to go back as a tourist. Unfortunately after the previous two visits to Kosovo, I told myself I never wanted to go back; so I was not looking forward to this visit.
However after spending a week there for this work trip, I think I have made my peace with the city and it's environs; I now want to go back as a tourist.
During the week I had a little spare time to explore my nearby surroundings. This is a video I made during a hike around Germia Park, which is a couple of miles outside Prishtina. There is a huge outdoor swimming pool there; sadly closed at this time of year.
Hope you enjoy. This is the first of two videos I will upload of my visit there. The other is of Prishtina proper.

Junior basketball tournament 2016, Germia park, Pristina
“2016 Junior Basketball Tournament” is organized by the OSCE at Germia Recreational Centre/Germia Park, Prishtinë/Priština, with the support of Municipality of Prishtinë/Priština, UNMIK, the US Embassy in Kosovo, Rugove, Alfracom International and MDA for the financial and logistics support to the event.
Junior Basketball clubs attending the tournament are from Prishtinë/Priština, Mitrovicë/Mitrovica South, Gjakovë/Đakovica, Prizren, and Štrpce/Shtërpcë. A group of 45 youths between the age 14 and 15 years old and basketball staff with four trainers , 8 basketball assistants and one medical specialist are participating today's event to be continuing throughout the week from 20 June until 30 June 2016. You are most welcome to participate as spectators.
