Ghosts & Gravestones Tour with Trolley Tours of San Diego, CA
Dying to Take a Ride on the Dark Side? ...Discover our San Diego Ghost Tours
Join us for a spirited & entertaining tour built on stories of history, mystery and legends of San Diego's past & DARKER SIDE!
Hear stories of ghosts that haunt the ships at the Maritime Museum.
Travel back in time and learn of the spirits of the notorious characters who lived & died in the Gaslamp Quarter.
Journey through Old Town, walking through El Campo Santo Cemetery and ending outside the Whaley House, both sites of many reported paranormal occurrences.
Some say that all ships are haunted and the ships at the Maritime Museum are no exception. At least three ghosts are rumored to haunt the ships in the museum's collection. Two can be found on the flag ship, the Star of India and at least one more on the ferry boat, the Berkeley.
Notorious wild characters like Gunslingers, Gamblers and Ladies of the Night lived and died in the Gaslamp Quarter and it is possible that their spirits live on in the dark recesses of our historic buildings.
According to the Travel Channel's America's Most Haunted, the Whaley house is the number one most haunted house in the United States. Although we cannot state positively that the House is really haunted, the voluminous documentation of paranormal occurrences at the site makes a compelling case. But, if there are ghosts at the Whaley House, who are they and why are they here?
Limited engagement. September - October only.
Reservations are required.

Creepiest Haunted Places in CALIFORNIA
Subscribe to American Eye
California is the countries most populated state known for movie stars, gold mining, beautiful coastlines and scary haunted stuff that will keep you up at night. From one of the countries most haunted houses located in san diego, to haunted locations in Yosemite national park, here are the creepiest haunted places in california.
5.Queen Mary, Long Beach
This large boat that sits in Long Beach looks like a smaller version of the titanic which already makes it pretty creepy. Add in some rumors about it being haunted and it’s sure to make our list. The historic ship has an important role during american history and is known for transporting more than 800 thousand troops across the atlantic. It currently sits in the harbor and operates as a floating hotel. And while attracting many living guests, it also seems to attract some supernatural guests as well. There are currently an estimated 150 known spirits the lurk around onboard. Over the past 60 years, there have been a recorded 49 people who went diseased. Many claim the engine room is one of the most haunted spots and during the filming of a movie, door number 13 claimed two lives when it fell over. There have also been sitings of ghosts of women wearing 1930’s swim gear to the pool.
4.Hotel Del Coronado
Another mysteriously haunted hotel in southern california makes our list and it’s actually one of the most iconic buildings in the city of San Diego. It’s the 2nd largest wooden structure made in the united states and displays a unique victorian style of architecture. It first opened in 1888 as the largest hotel resort in the world making it suitable for presidents, royalty and more celebrities. However, not everyone who came here rested in peace. A 24 year old woman who was desperately seeking love by the name of kate morgan checked in but never checked out. Her husband had recently went astray and was hoping for some intimate company with a suitable gentleman. After a while she became frustrated and was described as acting like she was ill and depressed. Eventually she chose to take her life one night at the hotel while some still argue foul play was to blame. The room where the incident took place is now one of the most requested rooms at the hotel where many guests have experienced flickering lights, mysterious breezes, and strange odors and sounds come randomly.
3.Point Big sur Lighthouse
California has many beautiful beaches but sometimes the building near them can become haunted. Such is the case for point sur lighthouse which is often described as one of the most haunted places in california. It’s believed to be haunted by many sailors who lost their lives during shipwrecks along the coast. It’s been featured on shows such as Ghost Adventures, so you know it’s legit! Located in Northern California on a volcanic rock, tours are only available early in the morning during the weekend. Is that because more ghosts come out at night? It really seems like it would be a creepy place to be late at night.
2.Sharon Tate House
10050 Cielo Drive was the address where one of the world’s most heinous and violent crimes took place in american history. It was here actress Sharon Tate and four others were discovered by police after his followers got a hold them. Even some frightening messages were even left in blood on the walls.Charles Manson had a frightening influence over his followers. He had his cult followers do the dirty work for him. He was the founder of what was called the Manson Family, which was a group of hippies in the 1960’s. He was found guilty of conspiracy to commit the homicide of seven people including the infamous crime scene at Roman Polanski’s mansion, which has now been demolished since 1994. The final resident of the original house was the musician from 9 inch nails, Trent Reznor
Before we get to our number one, we’d like to ask you guys do you think you could live in a house where horrible things took place if it was up for sale on a huge discount. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section and maybe we’ll feature you in an upcoming video

Hotel del Coronado Tours & Room Highlights - Coronado Hotel - San Diego Resorts
Hotel details:
Hotel del Coronado (otherwise called The Del and Hotel Del) is a noteworthy beachfront lodging in the city of Coronado, directly over the San Diego Bay from San Diego, California. It is one of only a handful few surviving cases of an American building classification: the wooden Victorian shoreline resort. It is the second biggest wooden structure in the United States (after the Tillamook Air Museum in Tillamook, Oregon) and was assigned a National Historic Landmark in 1977 and a California Historical Landmark in 1970.
When it opened in 1888, it was the biggest resort inn on the planet. It has facilitated presidents, sovereignty, and superstars as the years progressed. The lodging has been included in various motion pictures and books.
In the mid-1880s, the San Diego locale was amidst one of its first land blasts. Around then, it was normal for an engineer to construct a great lodging as a draw for what might some way or another be an infertile scene. The Hollywood Hotel in Hollywood, California, the Raymond Hotel in Pasadena, the Hotel Del Monte in Monterey, and the Hotel Redondo in Redondo Beach, California, were comparable stupendous lodgings worked as improvement allurements amid this time.
Additional Info:
Housed in a grand 1888 Victorian property, this upscale resort on the beach is 5 miles from downtown San Diego.
Airy polished rooms and suites (some with ocean views) feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minifridges and coffeemakers. Family suites add themed kids' rooms with bunk beds. Some upgraded rooms are set in a secluded location off the beach. Room service is provided 24/7.
Amenities include a spa (with an infinity pool), a fitness center, 2 outdoor pools and a hot tub. There are also multiple shops, bars and restaurants, including an ocean-view seafood eatery, and a lounge with live music. A daily resort fee applies.

The William Heath Davis House Museum, San Diego, CA - The San Diego Ghost Hunters - February 6, 2013
The San Diego Ghost Hunters donate their time once a month giving private and public Paranormal Ghost Tours at the William Heath Davis House Museum in the San Diego's Historical Gaslamp District downtown. On this night, Children's Author, Kelly Milner Halls joins us. She is completing a children's book on ghosts and will include her night with us here in the William Heath. There are many spirits of children who still linger in this beautiful home and we have enjoyed our interaction with them. Using toys as trigger objects have helped us receive some of our best evidence to date. In this particular clip, a small boy believed to be around the age of 3 to 4 years old, clearly let's us know that he has seen all the pictures in the book seen in the photo. His speech pattern is that of a 3 or 4 year old as you will hear for yourselves. He says, mmm I saw all dem, instead of mmm I saw all them!
The Lafayette Hotel and Hidden Marietta Present: The Haunted Hotel Ghost Tour
Ghost caught on camera in Old Town San Diego
The picture was taken on June 12th 2011. It was a 9:00 pm tour in Old Town San Diego.
I used a 12.0 megapixel camera to take pictures and my camera's battery was depleted after a few snaps in the grave yard.
M.Brown was our guide for the walking tour and did a very nice job. He will not try to make you believe but will tell you his experiences.
If Terry M West has a problem with me comparing his ghostly image to the one I have I will just simply delete this video.I do see Thomas Whaley in both images.I can even see his mustache in the photo I have.
Tell me what you think.

Step inside Old Sacramento's 'haunted' tunnels
In December 1861 and January 1862, Sacramento experienced the worst flooding in California history, according to City Historian Marcia Eymann. The city was raised to prevent future flooding, leaving behind dark, muggy tunnels of the original town. And som
