This is a video of a tea party held at Gilchrist Park in Punta Gorda, Florida on April 15, 2009. The predominately white, middle aged crowd held signs that read secure our borders, End the IRS, and RIP America. More than 500 protested against the tyranny of federalism at the protest.

Darst Park: Punta Gorda, Florida Bike Rides
Riding my Trek 7.2 FX along Riverside Drive east of Punta Gorda, Florida with a stop at Darst Park Boat Ramp on a cloudy windy day.
Riverside Drive is a favorite of cyclist around Punta Gorda and portions of the drive are include on several bike routes. Unfortunately, a section is currently closed for construction.

Riverside Park: Punta Gorda, Florida Bike Rides
A ride through the country east of Punta Gorda, Fl. along Cleveland and Riverside Drives on my Trek 7.2 FX to the Riverside Boat Ramp and Peace River Gardens. This is an area popular with local cyclists and is included on several bike routes. This segment covers about 10 miles for a ride of about 45 minutes.
