So excited to see this place when it is completed. I made this movie to share with other people who do not have the time to go down not to mention get in the way of the workers down there.

Three people were taken to hospital by ambulance. Two stayed on there with puncture lungs, broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder.
All are back racing again- one has gone on to win more world titles and set a new world record in 2009 for the 500 metre time trial at the World Masters Games in Sydney.

The new Giordana Velodrome in Rock Hill is hosting its first national championships this weekend. Cyclists are coming from around the country to compete in what's called the Elite Omnium.
Seasonal dome will keep Velodrome open year-round
The Olympic Training Center and USA Cycling are funding a very large solution to keep the velodrome open year-round: a seasonal dome.

Rock Hill Goodwill Center grand opening!
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont celebrated the grand opening of the new Goodwill Center in Rock Hill on Saturday, Sept. 17. Several community leaders helped cut the ribbon at 8:45 a.m., including Chairman of the Rock Hill Area Council Rocky Miller, South Carolina Senator Wes Hayes and York County Councilman William Bump Roddey. Doors opened to the public at 9 a.m., and shoppers enjoyed music, food and giveaways while they shopped.
The new Goodwill Center is located at 1922 Mt. Gallant Road, near the intersection of Celanese Road, replacing the old Rock Hill location at 717 Albright Road. WRHI and Interstate 107 were broadcasting live on-site with entertainment and giveaways, and Goodwill mascot Smiling G greeted shoppers.
Proceeds from the sale of donated items at Goodwill's retail stores fund the organization's job training and employment programs that assist thousands in the Southern Piedmont region each year. Ninety cents of every dollar spent at Goodwill helps fund these programs.

I am the rider in red and blue. My front wheel is swept out from under me by the rider in front who swung up the track without looking before she moved off her line. The resultant crash put two people in hospital (I was one of them) as a result I fractured my left index finger, my left hip, and dislocated my pelvis. Two weeks in hospital, two operations on my finger and three months later I was able to go back to work.
