Trout Fishing at Glen Helen Regional Park
Met up with Andrew and his brother Chris to do some trout fishing at Glen Helen Regional Park. The fishing we thought was going to start off great as a I got a nice trout right off the bat, but the fishing slowed up. We had received some rains the past week, which in turn made the water very murky.

From David K.- Journey, San Manuel Amphitheater, Sat. July 21,2012
Hi folks, Took this at the beginning of the concert.
Watch the ending !
In the middle there is a short part where it's dark,
and keeps playing. That's because I was looking
for my seat. ( did not get there until after doing the
video ) I sat behind a sound tower pillar ) resumes.
This is the opening song of the concert,
' Never Walk Away'. Love these guys !
Even thoughit's not a close up video,
got an unintended art effect with the lighting
by zooming in . See the end of the song, how the
lights go, awesome; almost Sci - Fi like !

The US Festivals were two early 1980s music and culture festivals sponsored by Steve Wozniak, formerly of Apple Computer. The first was held Labor Day weekend in September 1982 and the second was Memorial Day weekend in May 1983. Wozniak paid for the bulldozing and construction of a new open-air field venue as well as the construction of an enormous state-of-the-art temporary stage at Glen Helen Regional Park near Devore, San Bernardino, California. (This site was later to become home to Blockbuster Pavilion - now San Manuel Amphitheater - the largest amphitheater in the United States as of 2007.)
A stellar list of the most popular acts of the day including FLEETWOOD MAC, TALKING HEADS, SANTANA, STRAY CATS, THE CLASH, THE CARS, THE POLICE, THE B-52s, VAN HALEN, OZZY OSBOURNE, THE GRATEFUL DEAD, THE PRETENDERS, DAVID BOWIE, THE RAMONES, MOTLEY CREW, QUIET RIOT and many others were filmed at the festival with multi-camera shoots. Some of the footage was used on SHOWTIME and MTV specials but the great majority has never met the light of day. Besides the over 100 hours of performance footage is many hours of great early 1980s youth pop-culture stock footage. All of which has been logged and re-transferred and is available for licensing.

Mojave River State Fish And Game
The Mojave River Fish Hatchery is part of the Department of Fish & Game. It is a major producer and supplier of trout for Southern California, It is located in the city of Victorville in San Bernardino County at the rear of Victor Valley College lower campus entrance.
Stringer Media was glad to film the Mojave River State Fish Hatchery as a part of our park reviews.
Rating: On a scale of 1-10 We give this park a 10 for it's quiet relaxful setting. And no visual evidence of crime. The restrooms were very clean as was the on-site park. The employees were hard at work keeping the place in order. The grass in the park was green and there is water and trash cans available. There are plenty of informative signs and bulletin boards to keep you up to date. Parking is plentiful. Once inside the hatchery you can buy food to feed the fish for 25 cents. This is one place to see our tax dollars hard at work.
Pros - Clean, Free & Fun.
Cons - None.

History:
The US Festival (US pronounced like the pronoun, not as initials) was the name of two early 1980s music and culture festivals.
Background:
Steve Wozniak, cofounder of Apple and creator of the Apple I and Apple II personal computers, believed that the 1970s were the Me generation. He intended the Us Festivals, with Bill Graham's participation, to encourage the 1980s to be more community-oriented and combine technology with rock music.
This site was later to become home to Blockbuster Pavilion—now Glen Helen Amphitheater—the largest amphitheatre in the United States as of 2007. The festival stage has resided at Disneyland in Anaheim since 1985, and has operated under various names and functions as the Videopolis dance club, the Videopolis Theatre, and the Fantasyland Theater.
Memorial Day Weekend, 1983:
The reprise festival ran for three days, this time at the helm was Colorado-based promoter Barry Fey, who with Wozniak added a fourth Country Day a week later. Total attendance was reported at 670,000; the festival still lost $12 million. There were two reported deaths.
