Welcome to 12 Days of Vlogmas Day 5!! Yay!!
We visited the Gracery Hotel in Shinjuku to see the giant Godzilla up close! The hotel has a restaurant that connects to the terrace that houses the giant masterpiece. The best part is you don’t need to be a hotel guest to visit! Anyone can go!
One cool thing is that every hour Godzilla will roar for a minute and light up!
This was filmed months ago, but I just got around to editing it! So I made it a little more Christmas-y! Lol

When you come to Tokyo, Japan, why don't you pay a visit to Shinjuku and enjoy the Godzilla Head emerging on top of Toho Cinema Building. Godzilla celebrated the 60th anniversary of its debut in Japan last year(2014)
Godzilla Roars — Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
Filmed in Tokyo, Japan at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku on August 9th, 2018.
There is a giant Godzilla statue in Tokyo that overlooks the Toho Cinema building in Shinjuku, Kabuki-cho and the aptly named Godzilla Road. This statue is actually housed at Hotel Gracery Shinjuku, and guests can go out on a viewing platform to get an up-close look— even touch part of Godzilla's back. Every hour on the hour for most of the day, Godzilla gives out his famous roar. While I was staying and filmed this, it was an overcast day right before a typhoon, so it may be difficult to see some of the effects. I think they would look best at night or in the rain.
