Stonehenge and Roman Baths Day Tour from London | 2019 December | Vlog #1
United Kingdom's most incredible sites with a day trip to Stonehenge, and Bath from London. This a complete tour visual guide which might help you if you are planning to visit these spectacular sites.
Reason for not adding Windsor Castle to this list is it is more relaxing and have more time to explore Bath City.
Booked our tickets for the tour through Golden Tours two days before the tour day.
Use the below link to directly access the booking page
This is not the cheapest method but the most easiest, safest and hassle free way unless you own a private vehicle.
There are lot of other sites who offer Stonehenge and Bath tours but this is the most reliable tour site we found on internet.
Booked the Stonehenge and Bath complete tour with meal and entrance tickets to both sites which cost around 80GBP per person (40GBP worth tickets included)
The meal is not as good as we thought. Just a burger and some chips. Better if you can bring your own meal but make sure you don't eat it on-board. That's a precise warning. They don't like to get there coaches dirty and smelly :D
Apart of that the tour was well organized and 5 star. Our guide for the day was Mr.Saul was a fine and very informative nice guy. The journey started around 8.30 am and arrived our 1st stop at Wiltshire at about 10.30 am. It was sunny and chilling. What a perfect weather condition for site-seeing. Stonehenge was built about 5,000 years ago, and the unique stone circle was erected in the late Neolithic period about 2500 BC. In the early Bronze Age many burial mounds were built nearby.

There is a 5 minute transit to Stonehenge. On the way back to vehicle park there are few other things to see like Neolithic Houses furnished with replica Neolithic axes, pottery and other artifacts, the replica of Sarsens the largest stone and the exhibition center.
Then continued to our destination 'The city of Bath'.
The first view of the city was Fabulous!
The city built by Romans in the 1st century AD. The City of Bath is of Outstanding Universal Value for the following cultural attributes: The Roman remains, especially the Temple of Sulis Minerva and the baths complex (based around the hot springs at the heart of the Roman town of Aquae Sulis, which have remained at the heart of the City’s development ever since) are amongst the most famous and important Roman remains north of the Alps, and marked the beginning of Bath’s history as a spa town.
Visit Bath complex first and then you are free to roam the city. It was bit busy as the dawn of Christmas and the streets were packed with amazing stalls and people.
Don't forget to spend sometime at the park in front of Bath Abbey .

We hop on the top deck of a London tour bus to spend some time with Phil, who has miraculously stayed in a job he took one summer for some extra cash… 15 years ago. Now a tourist favourite and low key star of the tour bus circuit, Phil reflects on what appeals to him so much about the job and the assortment of people he meets doing it.

Never forget that the people on your tour are on holiday. You know, that they’re here to enjoy the place, they might never come back to this city again. It might be that their plane's been diverted and they've been sent to London for a day or so, nobody knows! So we’re going to slowly but surely make our way up towards Oxford Circus. You have to always remember that you’re an ambassador for not only London but also England and Great Britain, because you might be the only person that these people on the bus talk to in their entire tour maybe. And they remember you, and then they write it on trip advisor, hopefully, fingers crossed you get five stars! And I tell you, you get that first five star review and you’re like check that out! Somebody once asked me what the Marble Arch was made of. I thought that was a lovely question. And I asked her, how long is it since you slept, and the answer was 48 hours. We’ve seen some strange things, I’ve seen it snow, I’ve seen the sun come out. The Queen waves by the way, Prince Phillip never waves, Charles always waves, Tony blair used to wave, David Cameron waves. Kylie was on the bus, she was on the Big Bus but she wasn’t on my bus, you know, which was a shame...
Hello mate how are you? Good to see you”
I really like that by the way, I like the Shard, I like the London Eye because it’s half and hour, you know on it, off it, done, you know. I also contemplated whether I’d take up stand up comedy. There’s some good stand up comics out there now though, it’s a busy world to get into. You know, tour guiding, you can still be up here. I can still be my own little ‘nobody’s ever heard of’ celebrity. So they had to spend millions of pounds on adding all of that stuff on the front to stop the sun shining off it. It’s a passion, it’s a hobby and a passion as well you know. The Shard. I watched The Shard go slowly but surely bigger and bigger. I’ve got a whole collection of photographs at home of it going bigger and bigger and bigger until its finished.
And that corner building is a nice little pub, it’s a Whetherspoons...inexpensive.
I have the advantage of being the tour guide in London.
And I could talk about... just everything!
May the force be with you, and may the force be with you, yes... don't go over to that dark side.

London and Paris Vacation - Traveling Robert
This is a chronicle of our trip to London and Paris in the spring of 2015. We stay in Greenwich just to east of London, visit several other places in England such as Windsor, Bath and Stonehenge. Also see all the major Paris tourist attractions including a cruise on the Seine River except for the Louvre Museum. It is still a great Paris Travel Guide for a first timer.
