Flying - Helicopter Tour To The Grand Canyon, taking off from Las Vegas (Nevada, U.S.A.).
Flying from Las Vegas International Airport over the Hoover Dam and onto The Grand Canyon where we landed for lunch and then back onboard for the flight back via a short refuel stop out in the Desert. The day was awesome and we had great weather and a great time. Highly recommended. They pick you up and drop you back at your hotel also making it easy for anyone to arrange.

AMAZING HELICOPTER TOUR OF THE GRAND CANYON FROM LAS VEGAS
When I reflect on things that I consider to be a once in a lifetime travel opportunity, few would be ahead of our helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. Never have I had the opportunity to see such stunning rugged scenery from such a vantage point. Departing from the airport we flew over Las Vegas Strip, Lake Mead and The Hoover Dam before finally reaching the Grand Canyon. After landing we enjoyed some champagne with ample time to snap photos. It's a tour we'll never forget and it has really whetted our appetite to spend additional time exploring the Grand Canyon when we have the next opportunity.

Amazing Helicopter Tour of the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas Travel Video Script:
One of the highlights of our three day weekend in Las Vegas was the opportunity to take a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon. Visiting this natural marvel is already a once in a lifetime experience but getting to see it from above the cherry on top. Every single person on that helicopter smiled the whole way there and back. Here are some of the views from that flight.
We just took a helicopter tour with Maverick Helicopters and we've just landed in the Grand Canyon. And you guys, it is so impressive.
So what did you think of the flight over? Well, it's been quite a while since I've been in a helicopter. The last time I rode in one was when I was a child. And I just love them so much more than taking a plane. It is just a smoother experience and the helicopter is really versatile. It can zig and zag and go all over the place. Perfect for filming and perfect for views.
Were you a little scared considering it was your first ride? My hands were a little clammy from the experience but honestly it is amazing. Like, once you are up in the air and you get to see the landscape below you it is just so amazing. So I'm not scared anymore. The scenery is so distracting you kind of forget that you're nervous. Yeah, and it just becomes a really peaceful experience being up in the air. So it was really cool.
So we're fueling up, swapping seats and now it is time to head back to Las Vegas.
On the flight back we flew over the Vegas Strip for a bird's eye view of the city. When the helicopter finally touched down we still had giant grins plastered on our faces. This is an experience that will be very hard to top.

If you are in Las Vegas and you want something to do for 1 day, you should seriously think about spending $79 for a 1 day bus ride to see the Grand Canyon.
Its inexpensive and the $79 price includes bus fare, park entry fee and an all you can eat buffet lunch... on top of spending 3 hours at the Grand Canyon.
It really is a bargain for adventurers on a tight budget.
The bus we had was brand new. The bus had USB ports at every seat so you could charge your electronics. They played DVD movies on the way up and on the way back so it was comfortable and stress free...all for only $79!!!

This composite video shows the walls of Grand Canyon West, the mighty Colorado River below, and the plateau 4,000 feet below the rim where we landed to drink champagne, prick ourselves on cacti and look under rocks for rattlesnakes. We flew with Papillon who were excellent from the minute they picked us up from our casino in a neon-lit stretch limousine til the moment we arrived back at our Las Vegas hotel thinking Well, after that adventure, and Machu Picchu... have we reached the pinnacle of our lives? We also had a sunrise tour of the Vegas Strip, flew over Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. This is a must do if you're ever in the United States:

Hello, welcome to my page! Situated in Nevada, Las Vegas is the 28th-most populated city in the United States, and it internationally renowned for being a major resort city destination, known primarily for its gambling, shopping, fine dining, entertainment, and nightlife.
The city is also known as the main gateway to one of the most popular attractions in the United States, if know in the world: The Grand Canyon.
We visited Las Vegas for 3 full days / 4 nights in November 2017, so here is a complete overview of our experience on this trip:
Day One - 17 November
This was our first night in Las Vegas and we decided to take the day to explore the strip. We were staying at the The Venetian hotel, which is located just at the end of the strip, in walkable distance from the main attractions.
Lined with upscale casino hotels, The Las Vegas strip is packed with replicas of some of the world’s most famous landmarks such as: The Eiffel Tower in Paris, The Colosseum in Rome, the Statue of Liberty in New York, and even the Grand Canal of Venice, among many others. We needed a day to explore the main attractions of the strip without having to rush, and that’s what we did.
In the evening, we headed to the “O” show by the Cirque du Soleil (which I highly recommend) and then we went to watch the water show in the Bellagio Hotel which you can see in the video.
Day 2 - 18 November
On this day we took a Uber ride to explore the Las Vegas sign and we had to wait at least half an our to have our pictures taken because it was very busy. After that, we went to explore the Luxor hotel which has a very distinctive architecture - it resembles the pyramids of Egypt.
Then in the evening, we went to the Grand MCG Hotel to watch the David Copperfield’s show, the greatest magician of all times. I have to say that I was not expecting much from his show (even though he is such a famous magician) but his show blew me away. If you are in Vegas and you have to chance to watch his show I would say, go for it, you will not be disappointed.
Day 3 - 19 November
This was the day we did a half day helicopter tour to the Grand Canyon. We booked our tour with a company called “Maverick” and they picked us up at 11 am and dropped us back around 4 pm (times are flexible with this tour). We visited the Grand Canyon West rim, and our trip also included landing and champagne on the Grand Canyon, as you can see in the video above. The trip was very nice and the views were breathtaking - we were lucky we had good weather on that day. The best thing though about doing a helicopter trip is the fact that you will be in a small group, usually with up to 6 people, which makes the trip more personal and more enjoyable.
That evening, we also visited the famous “Freemont Street”, which is the second most visited street in Las Vegas, and packed with Casinos, restaurants, live entertainment and many others. A must see if you are in Vegas!
