The Bohemian Hotel Celebration: FULL Room & Hotel Tour
In today's vlog, we enjoy a stay at the Bohemian Hotel in Celebration, Florida. The Bohemian Hotel Celebration is part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. We stayed in a 2 Queen, Sofa bed studio, which was an upgrade from the King guest room we originally reserved. The Bohemian Hotel Celebration is a 15-20 minute drive to the Walt Disney World Resort, depending on where you're going on property.
The first thing you'll notice about the Bohemian Hotel Celebration is the red and white rotating sign, showcasing Bohemian Hotel and Celebration. Upon walking into the lobby of the Bohemian Hotel Celebration Florida, the first thing I noticed was the lovely smell. A candle was burning nearby from The Kessler Collection, which is the company that owns the Bohemian Hotel Celebration.
The lobby of the Bohemian Hotel Celebration is filled with interesting decorations and works of art, many of which are inspired by Florida. Just off the lobby is the Grand Bohemian Gallery, where you can purchase works of art. The Bohemian Hotel Celebration has a small, but adequate fitness center with dumbbells, treadmills, and even some grab and go apples!
Just down the hallway from the fitness center is the restaurant right on Lake Rianhard. This outside area, of course, has interesting decorations like red chandeliers seemingly made from red sticks, a canoe, and a ten foot tall statue of a Native American. The pool is right to the side of this restaurant/patio area.
The Bohemian Hotel Celebration has a few meeting/reception areas. Mounted on the wall in the hallway in this area was a ten foot alligator! As I mentioned before, this hotel is styled with Florida very much in mind.
I'm not sure if all of the rooms in the Bohemian Hotel Celebration have balconies, but our two Queen/sofa bed studio did, complete with two white rocking chairs. Our room looked over the streets of Celebration and Lake Rianhard. Thanks to a handy book located in the nightstand, I found out that the Bohemian Hotel Celebration was the fifth hotel added to the Autograph Collection.
We wrapped up our stay at the Bohemian Hotel Celebration with a walk around Lake Rianhard. This hotel in Celebration is also just a walk, short bike or scooter ride away from all of the restaurants, shops, and activities that Celebration, Florida has to offer. If you're interested in staying close to Walt Disney World property, but just slightly out of the Disney bubble, give the Bohemian Hotel Celebration a shot!

EVP's from Helen's Bridge Asheville, NC.wmv
We had an Extra Credit assignment from a Ghost Hunt/Tour from the night before. We went up to see Helen's Bridge in Asheville where stories say that a woman was so distraught over the death of her daughter that she hung herself from this bridge and still haunts it today. We went up there to see it and to our surprise, we caught two EVP's.
