A Visit To Westport, Washington
My parents invited Michele and I to spend a few days in their motorhome while visiting the Washington coast and we stayed at Grayland Beach State Park. Through the next three days we visited Westport and Ocean Shores and did such activities as driving on the beach, flying kites and visiting the Westport Maritime Museum. We also walked along their harbor and watched locals crabbing. I dedicate this video to my father, a wonderful man who deserves recognition on this Fathers Day.

Yakima River Canyon - Central Washington State
The ridges above Roza Dam, located near the south end of Yakima Canyon, is a great place to enjoy the desert landscape and observe trains passing thousands of feet below.
It was carved through immense layers of basalt volcanic rock during periods of catastrophic flooding when the glaciers receded during the last ice age. The horseshoe bends and steep rock faces are evidence of the constant forces of erosion.
This arid desert landscape is only an hours drive east from the cold and wet crest of the Cascade Mountains, and is a great place to enjoy sunshine and open spaces.

91-Road trip 7/1991 to Westport WA, Good Old Days RV Travels
Special Presentation of Good Old Days RV Travels, featuring video travels of the 80's & 90's and how it was back then in days gone by. This video was taken 7/1991. Westport is located on a peninsula on the south side of the entrance to Grays Harbor from the Pacific Ocean. The public Westport Marina is the largest marina on the outer coast of the United States's Pacific Northwest. The marina is home to a large commercial fishing fleet and several recreational charter fishing vessels. A summer-only passenger ferry, discontinued in 2008, previously connected the town to Ocean Shores, across the mouth of the harbor to the north.

Cape Disappointment -Washington State Park, USA
A trip to Cape Disappointment -Washington State Park, USA. Set to relaxing music. The video features two different light houses one on the Pacific Ocean side and the other on the Columbia River. The park is located at the mouth of the Columbia River on the Northern Washington side. One can see cormorant, sea gulls, pelican and fishing boats in the video. The area includes jetties, sand dunes, forest and wetlands. To the left of the light house on the columbia river, when looking up from the water, one can see the remnants of Fort Canby.
