Hiking-Long Point Lighthouse to Lower Head,Twillingate NL
Hikers Keith and Heather Nicol recently walked this impressive trail which starts at the Long Point Lighthouse parking lot near Twillingate, Newfoundland. The trail offers fine views of the Gunn Islands and is a fine place to spot icebergs in season. This trail is about 5 km in length and you should allow at least 2 hours to complete it. Sunrise at Mad Rocks - Bay Roberts, Newfoundland
On a recent trip to Newfoundland I had the pleasure of capturing the stunning beauty of Mad Rocks at sunrise. The air was so fresh, I felt like my sole was being purified by the cool steady sea breeze. I was the only person on the cliffs at the time which made it all the more special!

It is located on St. Mary's Bay and can be accessed via Route 100 or Route 92. Nearby communities include Point Lance and St. Bride's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Sunsets Over Newfoundland
These three time lapses were taken at sunset each day. The first is from the Gravels, which is the isthmus that connects the Port au Port Peninsula to the Island of Newfoundland. It was taken Tuesday, October 21, 2014.
The second sunset was from Rocky Harbour, NL and was taken on October 22, 2014.
The third and final sunset was from Lewisporte, NL on October 23, 2014
