The Old Time String Band go to play their mix of vintage Blues, Jazz and Country in Stockholm, Sweden. This was for Swedish fashion designer Gudrun Sjoden's store re-opening.
We had played for them in Covent Garden, London for the press launch after we were selected by Varg Ltd. Gudrun and her team liked us so much that two weeks later we were being flown to Sweden to play at this event.
The bits of song you hear us play are; Peggy Gordon, Why Don't You Do Right, June Apple and Wabash Rag.
We've played for many people in all kinds of situations and we have hardly ever being looked after as well and made to feel as welcome as Gudrun and her team.

Gudrun Sjödén Winter 2016
A colourful winter in shades of brown.
My inspiration for this year’s autumn and winter collections came from North and South America.
For the autumn collection, I was immersed in North American folklore; for the winter collection, we head south to Peru and Bolivia. We visit Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca and Salar de Uyuni, the world’s largest salt flat.
The result is a collection inspired by the most celebrated of all South American garments – the poncho – the flora and fauna of the Amazon jungle and the rich design heritage of the native South American peoples. All choicely coordinated with a comprehensive essentials collection, full of winter favourites.

Wanås Castle & Sculpture Park is situated in the green county of Skåne, southern Sweden, amid the greenery of the park and beech forest surrounding the castle and contains some 50 permanent works.
