The largest battle of the Revolutionary War's Southern Campaign was fought at the small North Carolina backcountry hamlet of Guilford Courthouse. The battle proved to be a turning point for British military operations in the Revolutionary War.
In this video, you'll hear demons that follow us around the park, contaminating our evidence in the search for lost souls, trying to make me give up my passion for investigating. They've been trying to torment us since our A Cry for Help video series.

Psalm 46:1-2, 10-11 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear…Be still, and know that I am God…the Lord Almighty is with us.”

Guilford Courthouse Hunt
The Old North State Detectorists assisted the UNCG (University of North Carolina at Greensboro) Archeology Department during a recent outing at the Guilford Courthouse National Military Park in Greensboro, NC in an attempt to locate the original site of the Guilford Courthouse. In cooperation with local park personnel and the National Park Service, we scanned several areas to determine what was in the ground and possibly be able to narrow our focus to an exact location of the old courthouse. During this dig, some grapeshot and a .69 caliber musket ball were recovered incidental to the search. Please note our new website at onsdclub.com

Bob Timberlake talks about his ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War. The Battle of Guilford Courthouse was fought on March 15, 1781. It was considered a Pyrrhic victory for the British because they took the field but suffered heavy casualties.
