Mobile Police Museum
Mobile Police Museum in Mobile, Alabama
The Dauphin Street Police Precinct and Museum is a combination live police station and a police museum. The museum, located across the street from Cathedral Square, has a number of interesting displays.
There is a history of the weapons used over the past 174 years by the department. You will see nightsticks of various types and a Pepper Fog machine. The machine's name says it all - a gasoline engine-powered mechanism that produced an early form of tear gas used mainly primarily for crowd control.

Help Krystal get to Kentuck!! Part 2
Kentuck Festival of the Arts 2015 - 44th Annual
Location: Northport, Alabama
The Kentuck Festival exists to nurture artistic expression by providing an opportunity for undiscovered and established artists to share and sell their work; to educate the public about the creative efforts of artists; perpetuate traditional crafts, and to add to the cultural climate and quality of life in the community, state, and region. Throughout the years many undiscovered artists who are now in textbooks, galleries and museums have exhibited at Kentuck. The Kentuck Festival of the Arts has been designated a Local Legacy by the U.S. Library of Congress and was recognized on TIME.com as the Authentic American Experience for the state of Alabama. The Festival has been featured in Smithsonian Magazine, voted one of the Top Twenty Events by the Southeast Tourism Society and described by Southern Living magazine as 'the best of all things Southern'.
Hello, my name is Krystal Corley, I currently reside in Alabama and am struggling to get my art career off the ground. I've had a love for art my entire life and just began painting 6 years ago; The second the brush touched the canvas my soul was at peace. From that moment on, I was no longer Krystal, the Waitress. I became Krystal, the Artist. I participated in a local festival in the past and last year I actually got invited to host my very first art show! I have steady business with commissioned paintings and that seems to keep me afloat. However, to attend the 44th annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts, I need to raise funds in order to produce the art! What I'm asking, specifically, is help from my supporters to back me and my vision. If I were able to paint every day from this moment until October 17th, just think of the art I could produce!! Without the commissioned work, I would need help with material cost(s) and your day to day expenses as an artist. If you'd like to be a part of my journey, make a donation! Just go to Every little bit helps. Visit my facebook site at and also Thank you so much!!

Full Review on the New Dauphins Restaurant at the top of the RSA Banktrust Building
(Taken on 04-15-16) This is the review and a tour of the Brand New Dauphins Restaurant located on the 34th floor of the RSA Banktrust Building in downtown Mobile, AL. This is the place to go if you want a breathtaking view or an unforgettable lunch or dinner. Views are great, food is delicious. The price for lunch is actually not that bad. Dinner is very expensive though. Enjoy the elevator ride up, then a view/tour, then a look at what a lunch meal looks like then some beautiful pictures of the view. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.
