A CAFE YOU CAN'T MISS! REISSUE CAFE TOKYO JAPAN (Travel Vlog 2019)
$10 for a coffee?! Yes it was worth it :)
We continue our day in Harajuku with the coolest coffee shop we have ever been too! (and also the most expensive...)
If you're a coffee fan and want to try something different, head to Reissue Cafe for amazing and custom 2-D/3-D latte art. The process was simple pick what type of coffee you wanted (latte, cappuccino, etc.), pick your art, and wait for your coffee! We got a 3-D Pikachu and custom 2-D latte art of Jenny and her dog! It was money well spent :)
And after an action packed day exploring Harajuku we end the night with some of the best ramen we've had!
Places visited in today's vlog:

BEST SUSHI TRAIN IN SHIBUYA TOKYO (+ Kit Kats at Mega Don) Travel Vlog
Explore Shibuya with us! It's our second full day in Tokyo and we want to eat all the sushi and Japanese Kit Kats!
We walk you through how to purchase a 72-Hour Metro pass for easy transport around Tokyo. All you need is your passport and stamp proving you're a tourist. Be sure to bring cash!
Getting to Shibuya was an easy trip from Shinjuku on the metro, as long as you know how to get out of the underground...
Then we were off to find the Hachikō Memorial Statue, do the Shibuya Scramble, try the BEST (and cheap) Conveyor Belt Sushi in Shibuya. And we finished off our lunch with some sweets (Kit Kats) from the MEGA DON Quijote in Shibuya.

Tokyo Hidden Spots: Tokyo Coffee Town | Kiyosumi-shirakawa
Try the free app out yourself! :)
I'm pretty picky with my sponsorships so I only collaborate with companies I personally like and ones that I would actually recommend to friends/family etc.
I used HelloTalk a few years ago when I was still studying in New Zealand and didn't have the environment or chance to speak/practice Japanese.
I thought it was a great way to meet native speakers and still maintain my Japanese level even though I wasn't in Japan. There are millions of people using this app so if you meet some one you get along with it's pretty fun and you can even be friends in real life! If you don't meet some one you get a long with... you can still practice Japanese :D haha
If you don't like it you can always delete it since it's free anyway :)
Let me know what you guys thought of the app and hope you can meet some cool people from it and make some new native friends!

Here is another Tokyo hidden spots video for you guys and this time we are exploring Kiyosumi-shirakawa which is an old local town in Tokyo known for being the coffee town due to the number of unique independently opened coffee shops around the area.
I loved the vibe to this area especially how it had a slow paced, laid back atmosphere. So if you want a quick getaway from the fast paced lifestyle in Tokyo, have a picnic here and coffee shop hop around the area :)
Enjoy the video!

Visiting a Japanese Cat Cafe in Tokyo, Japan! ????
In this video we visit a Japanese cat cafe in Tokyo. If you've been following this channel for a while, you've probably noticed a bit of a cat cafe trend - if a city has a cat cafe, we're there!
Of course when we came to Japan, we couldn't resist visiting and seeing how the cat cafes compare to others we've been to. And in case you're counting, we've now been to cat cafes in Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Germany, Ukraine, and even Canada.
For this outing, we decided to visit a cat cafe in Ikebukuro called Cat Cafe MoCHA. They have multiple locations across Tokyo, and while we didn't visit them all, we were wowed by the size of the one in Ikebukuro. It was very spacious and the cats had plenty of space to roam.
The cafe itself had a section for napping, studying, playing board games, playing computer games and just general lounging. It was very quiet inside with soft music playing in the background (hence why we're whispering in this video!), but it was a pretty cool environment and a fun activity for a rainy day in Tokyo.
One of the things you can do at Cat Cafe MoCHA is feed the cats, so we bought some food for them. We were expecting we'd get some kibbles or wet cat food, but it was quite the event; we got given aprons, a mat for the cats to eat on, and even a spoon to feed them one by one. It was a really fun experience - oh, Japan!
If you want to experience a Japanese cat cafe during your visit, here are the details for the one we went to:
Cat Cafe Mocha (Ikebukuro East Exit)

Visiting a Japanese Cat Cafe in Tokyo, Japan! ???? Script:
Well hello guys. As you can see it is a rainy day here in Tokyo. Not ideal for sightseeing but we are not staying indoors. We're actually going to be heading to a cat cafe and if you've been following this channel for a while you know that we love cat cafes.
We have come to Ikebukuro (池袋) there is a whole bunch to choose from over here so yeah let's go find some cats.
We are enjoying lots of quality time with the cats. It is not as busy as I thought it would be but I guess it is the middle of the week on a rainy day. Yeah. So this is actually really good for us because the cat to human ratio is in our favour.
Here you have to pay buy a time slot. It is 200 Yen for 10 minutes. Yeah. It is 200 Yen for 10 minutes which is less than 2 US dollars.
Okay so this is pretty cool. The cafe has a lot of different like sections. So there is an area where you can sleep on beds. They also have an area where you can play board games.
I'm going to feed some cats for 500 Yen.
Audrey you've made a lot of friends. Audrey did you become a cat whisperer?
And as you can see over here Cat Cafe Mocha has a whole bunch of locations all over Tokyo so this isn't the only one you can come to.
That cat cafe was a lot of fun. It is the largest and nicest cat cafe we've ever been to on our travels. We really enjoyed it. We ended up spending 40 minutes there and since you pay by 10 minute increments it was 200 Yen times 4 so 800 Yen per person. We also bought cat food which was really worth it. We really enjoyed feeding the cats. The total itself it was 2100 Yen. Yeah. Which came to just under $20 US dollars. Yeah. And I would say it is a really unique activity you can do here in Tokyo. The cats were so sweet. It was really fun feeding them. So definitely worth it. If you're are a cat lover you'll want to check this place out.
This is part of our Travel in Japan video series showcasing Japanese food, Japanese culture and Japanese attractions.
