Ha Ha Tonka State Park
Ha Ha Tonka State Park is a public recreation area encompassing over 3,700 acres (1,500 ha) on the Niangua arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, about five miles south of Camdenton, Missouri, in the United States. The state park's most notable feature is the ruins of Ha Ha Tonka, an early 20th-century stone mansion that was modeled after European castles of the 16th century.
The park also features caves, sinkholes, and bluffs overlooking the lake. It is a prominent example of karst topography, which is geological formation shaped by the dissolution of a layer or layers of soluble bedrock.[5] A 70-acre (28 ha) portion of the park was designated as the Ha Ha Tonka Karst Natural Area in 1981.

Thanksgiving at Ranch of the Ozarks and Ha Ha Tonka
Each year we head south to Camden County and spend some time on almost 500 acres with horses, cattle and other animals. This year was the first time Zee was able to join us and she loved it. We had Christmas #1 for the year at Shannon's grandmother's house, saw the movie Coco, and explored Ha Ha Tonka state park a little bit. We had great weather! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving if you live in the U.S. We hope to catch up on videos during the holidays. Keep checking back and click the little bell on our home page to ensure you get notified when we upload new videos.

Stunt pilots using Pitts airplanes at Camdenton Mo. Airport
Unlike most airshow pilots, Brian Correll didn't grow up around airplanes as a child. However, he's more than made up for lost time in the air, accumulating over 5500 hours in over 100 different models of aircraft from Piper Cubs to the Boeing KC-135 throughout his career. Brian's first exposure to aviation was an invitation from friends to join them on their first skydives. He was hooked and Brian had over 60 takeoffs in an airplane before experiencing his first landing, and the rest is, well as they say history. He went on to earn his commercial and flight instructor certificates while attending Kansas State University where he majored in Mechanical Engineering.
After graduating college Brian was selected by the Kansas Air National Guard to fly the KC-135. He attended Air Force Pilot Training finishing at the top of his class while cementing his love for aerobatics and dedication to perfection. Currently Brian is as an aircraft commander on the KC-135 having flown the tanker to numerous countries around the world including combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan. His most recent deployment was this summer flying over 300 hours during 40 combat missions refueling aircraft over the skies of Afghanistan and Iraq.
The airshow airplane Brian flies is a modified Pitts S2S, much different than the original aircraft that left the factory in 1979. The red and blue Pitts Biplane has been strengthened and modified making it capable of the extreme aerobatic routine that Brian puts his aircraft through. Some of these changes are visible like the squared off wing tips and enlarged control surfaces, while others are under the hood giving the aircraft more power with less weight. Add it all up and the Pitts combines awesome performance with the nostalgic biplane style making it the perfect airshow platform.
Brian currently flies wing for Team Vortex Airshows alongside Patrick Carter. They have been flying a team airshow act since 2009. Brian and his wife Rachel live in Manhattan Kansas with their son and baby on the way. He owns Welkin Aero Inc where he provides aerobatic and tail wheel instruction.

Personal Story:
My father promised me he would take me flying if I would give up my bottle when I was 2 years old. That's all it took I was hooked on flying but disappointed because we could not fly upside down, since the flight was in a Piper Arrow. I spent the next 18 years trying to figure out how to fly upside down. I soloed when I was 16, got my private when I was 17, commercial and flight instructor ratings and first job flying a jet at 18. I still hadn't figured out how to fly upside down so in 2006 I bought my Pitts and completely rebuilt it from the ground up to suit my needs. Now I get to fly upside down every day and share my passion for aerobatics with anybody that will listen.

UpDate on Amish Construction Ozark MO Look at 3rd St
A refurbishing trend has become contagious in old Ozark neighborhoods.
The various projects, from Third Street to the neighborhoods just north of the square, are slowly breathing life back into a part of town that hasn’t seen interest in decades.
“The most satisfying part of doing projects like this is getting people to come back and fall in love with something that was run down,” Torgerson said. “There’s a generation of people, basically those between the ages of 25-40, where recycling is a really popular thing right now. Not just here, but across the country. We take something about to be demolished and take it apart, save it, recycle it and add on to it and keep an era-specific look. It’s kind of cool to take something old, bring it back and make it useful again.”
And it appears the revitalization trend on old homes isn’t going away anytime soon.
“Right now I’m focused on the downtown — the core — of Ozark,” Torgerson said. “We plan to keep going. That’s our mission, that’s our goal, to revitalize Ozark.”
