You can reach there with the Sakka-kitaone quad (the rightmost lift in the Debut Area). Just in case -- Happo-one is pronounced happo-'oh-nay, at least by the locals.

Part 2 of our Japan 2016 trip. From Hakone we took a bullet train to Kyoto. We spent 4 days visiting this beautiful city - a complete contrast to Tokyo. We went to Osaka for a day trip and ate for 4 hours straight. Our last leg was Hakbua - the first time seeing snow for Steve. We took skiing lessons and fell in love with the family friendly Hakuba town and powder snow.
