She was born and grew up in Caracas, Venezuela where she graduated from Universidad Santa María with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She build a career working for private and government entities in Venezuela for more than 10 years. In 2009, she moved to the United States to pursue a career in photojournalism, her true passion. In 2013, she graduated with high honors from the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, FL with an Associate of Photographic Technology.
Since then, she has worked for publications such as the Orlando Sentinel and the Daytona Beach News-Journal where she strengthened her photojournalistic skills covering local news, including major sport events as Daytona 500 and NBA games.
Her series My Heart Back Home awarded Silver in Domestic Picture Story category in the 68th College Photographer of the Year (CPOY). This series also won the Army and Air Force Exchange Service’s Homeward Bound photo and video contest in 2014, and her work has been exhibited at the Southeast Museum of Photography in Daytona Beach, FL.
Currently, she is a photojournalist at the Daytona Beach News-Journal, and pursuing a Bachelor degree in Journalism at the University of Central Florida (UCF). More importantly, she is leading her career towards humanitarian and social photojournalism.

For those wonderning what I look like go to 5:00 into the video. This is one of our trips to Daytona Beach. I went to college there at Embry-Riddle and visit a few times a year. The video starts of in the wonderful ghetto of DAB. I use to have to do this drive everyday. MLK and Bellevue. Then we are lost in the Florida woods somewhere around Ponce Inlet. After, we are playing in the beach in Ponce Inlet and Ormond Beach. Some driving on Beach Street in Ormond Beach. The some photos of us in Daytona, St Augustine and the condo we stayed at. Next we are off to New Smyrna Beach where we found this coconut and tired to open it. After that the Daytona Beach Pier and driving through Tokoma State Park and its tunnel like effect from trees growing over the street. Finally it ends with Mike trying to fly at Sky Venture Orlando.

Driving on A1A through Daytona Beach, Florida in 4K
Dozens of barren lots sprouting more cigarette butts than blades of grass are dismal reminders of failed businesses along State Road A1A.
Empty buildings bleed out rust and rotting wood. Vacant storefront windows are haphazardly covered with crumpled brown paper, plywood and faded bed sheets with tacky prints.
The eyesores pockmark A1A from Ormond Beach down to Daytona Beach Shores. Their decay detracts from the well-kept condos, hotels and other businesses along the main north-south traffic artery within earshot of Atlantic Ocean waves crashing onto the World's Most Famous Beach.
Four News-Journal reporters recently walked the 10.5-mile stretch of A1A from Granada Boulevard to Dunlawton Boulevard. The survey also included the three main roads between the ocean and the mainland that cut through the core beachside neighborhood of Daytona Beach.
The team found 213 vacant lots, buildings and storefront addresses. The bulk of them — 142 — are scattered up and down A1A, the oceanfront corridor that in so many other coastal towns is jammed with high-dollar hotels, top-tier retailers and restaurants, and tony homes. Another 71 vacant properties were found along East International Speedway Boulevard, Main Street and Seabreeze Boulevard between the Halifax River and the beach.
