Trekking to the crater rim of Mount Rinjani | Wonderful Indonesia

I still can't believe we made it to the crater rim of Mount Rinjani, 2641m above sea level. We took the 2D1N package with Hallo Trekker via Senaru and it was easily one of the most challenging things I've ever done. I was so far out of my comfort zone and I am so glad I did it.

If you are new to climbing mountains like we are, this isn't the easiest to climb but it's doable and worth every single aching bone in your body!

In hindsight, I wish I had taken more videos but I won't dwell on that. I'll forever remember the stunning views that weren't captured on camera.

Hiking Mount Rinjani, Indonesia in 4K (Ultra HD)

Mt Rinjani is the second highest volcano in Indonesia (3,726m/12,224ft), part of the Mount Rinjani National Park. It is an active volcano with last eruptions in 2010 and 2015. Enjoy the stunning views of the park during three days trekking to the top.

Day 1 - Senaru village to Crater Rim; Day 2 - Crater Rim - Segara Anak Lake - Rinjani Basecamp at Crater Rim; Day 3 - Basecamp - Mount Rinjani - Sembalun village.

Mt Rinjani, an active volcano in Indonesia on Fire October 19, 2019

As the second highest volcano with stunning view in Indonesia, Mt. Rinjani attracts trekkers all over the world to make their epic adventure. However, not every well-prepared hikers has the opportunities. A few months ago an earthquake damaged the trail to Mt Rinjani summit and made the summit impossible. Yesterday Oct. 19, a wildfire which does not very often happen in the area started on the mountain and cut off the only trail to Rinjani Rim. About 100 hikers, guides and porters were forced to leave the mountain. The hot and dry weather, strong wind on the top will make the fire bigger. The locals are expecting rain season coming and stopping the fire. Some trekkers swear they will come back in the future.

Vidoe Summit Attack pendakian Gunung Rinjani pada tahun 2017, satu tahun sebelum gempa Lombok melanda.

Summit Attack Menuju 3726 MDPL Puncak Gunung Rinjani.
Start di mulai dari Plawangan Sembalun jam 01.00 WITA (dini hari).
Suhu yang dingin dan angin yang kencang tidak menyurutkan niat kita untuk menggapai Puncak Rinjani.
Pendaki mancanegara sudah start lebih awal dari kita dan kita pun ikut menyusul..
Perkiraan durasi normal untuk sampai di Puncak Tertinggi Rinjani 3726 MDPL sekitar 5-6 Jam (apabila cuaca mendukung)
tapi ternyata kita melebihi estimasi waktu tersebut.
kita sampai ke Puncak Rinjani sekitar jam 08.20 WITA (Pagi), hampir 8 jam kita trekking, memang kita terkendala badai angin yang sangat kencang sampai kita berlindung beberapa kali di bebatuan besar
walaupun kita kesiangan tidak bisa melihat Sunrise, tapi Puncak Rinjani tetap tidak ingkar janji, tidak ada kata yang bisa mewakili untuk menggambarkan keindahan yang terlihat dari Puncak 3726 MDPL.

(VLOG) X-Plor @ Gunung Rinjani via Sembalun

Kami bertiga tinggal didaerah kota bekasi, kami memutuskan untuk naik gunung rinjani pada awal april 2016 pas banget dengan pembukaan jalur pendakian gunung rinjani, kami naik via jalur sembalun. dan baru jalan saja kita sudah ada trouble alat masak, plesit ketinggal dimobil teman kami pas nganter ke damri, dan pada akhirnya alat-alat masak kami diater oleh teman kami yang bernama dendi dan diki mereka adalah penyelamat.
Pendakian via Sembalun memang ditawarkan dengan keindahan savananya ajib banget dah saya sendiri suka sekali view dari pos II.
Sayangnya kita bertiga gagal ke puncak Gunung Rinjani karena ada trouble. kita sampai di plawangan sembalun disini aja viewnnya begitu indah apalagi muncakk. :( tapi sayangnya kita turun hanya sampai plawangan Sembalun. dan mungkin lain hari saya akan kesana lagi dengan persiapan yang lebih matang.
