Hanoi Police Museum, Free Entry for Tourists - Vietnam Holidays
Very worthwhile visit - Hanoi Police Museum, Free Entry for Tourists - Vietnam Holidays. We were amazed at what we can see at the museum, including goods seized, tiny cameras used for spying, and interesting items are on display too. Best of all, this newly opened museum is free at the moment. Suitable for all ages.
Hanoi, Vietnam
Hanoi was our first stop on our 2 week Vietnam vacation. We visited the Hanoi Train Street where people literally live their lives on the tracks. The tracks are active and trains pass twice a day. We also experienced the Hanoi night life where small bars and restaurants overflow and spill out into the streets. Then, a few times a night the Police roll through and require restaurant owners to move off the streets. But no sooner do the Police leave and everyone floods back on to the street. Hanoi is an amazing, yet overwhelming cultural experience!

Shocking Torture Methods Used In The Vietnam War..! - Travelling In Vietnam
Part 9 of my Vietnam adventure consisted of learning more about the Vietnam War at the War Remnants Museum.
I learnt all about the insane torture methods used, the war crimes committed by the French and American army and the deadly chemical Agent Orange which led to horrific body mutations.
!!!PLEASE NOTE!!!
Since uploading this video i have had a few comments from people detailing how biased i am.
I would like to explain i am merely showing what i saw and experienced at a museum in Vietnam and seeing what life was like for the vietnamese in the war, so clearly it will show them off in a good way. I fully understand that both sides were in the wrong at times but then again it's called war, nothing is pleasant about it.
So in conclusion, i am not saying either country was good or bad i'm just stating what stories were told from the vietnamese point of the view, i'm sure different things would be said in an american museum.
Thank You

Hanoi, Vietnam
Jill and I were at a travel show and saw an advertisement for the boat in this video. We loved the looks of it and wanted to cruise aboard. I was a bit unsure about the trip as it was in Vietnam, but it's been a long time since the war, so we signed up. After all, our son Aaron visited there and enjoyed his trip.
As the time to depart got closer, I became a bit apprehensive, but we made the trip. We very much enjoyed Cambodia, but most likely will not return to Vietnam.

It is fascinating to see how the locals adapt to such daily disruptions. Some foreigners may feel strongly that life sucks there; well, it may or may not be for the people living there. Sometimes the people who live a simple life may well be the happier ones. It is not up to me to judge or criticise the people or the places that have given me fond memories of my mere 7-day trip to Hanoi.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.

Vietnam - Hanoi Prison Museum
A day in hell's hallway
when the french invaded Vietnam they put tons of people in this prison and treated them terrrribly!
Here is a basic look at it
Unfortunately they took down more than half the prison to put up a hotel. Stupid IMO.

Vietnam War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh City | 4K (graphic)
The museum comprises a series of themed rooms in several buildings, with period military equipment placed within a walled yard. The military equipment includes a UH-1 Huey helicopter, an F-5A fighter, a BLU-82 Daisy Cutter bomb, M48 Patton tank, an A-1 Skyraider attack bomber, and an A-37 Dragonfly attack bomber. There are a number of pieces of unexploded ordnance stored in the corner of the yard, with their charges and/or fuses removed.
One building reproduces the tiger cages in which the South Vietnamese government kept political prisoners. Other exhibits include graphic photography,[3] accompanied by a short text in English, Vietnamese and Japanese, covering the effects of Agent Orange and other chemical defoliant sprays, the use of napalm and phosphorus bombs, and war atrocities such as the My Lai massacre. The photographic display includes work by Vietnam War photojournalist Bunyo Ishikawa that he donated to the museum in 1998. Curiosities include a guillotine used by the French and South Vietnamese to execute prisoners,[3] the last time being in 1960, and three jars of preserved human fetuses allegedly deformed by exposure to dioxins and dioxin-like compounds, contained in the defoliant Agent Orange. It is located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City or formerly known as Saigon, Vietnam - Wiki
