Beautiful Belgrade, Serbia Vlog#1 | Nepal's Solo Travel Vlogger goes to Serbia | Travel Vlog 2018
BOTH ENGLISH AND NEPALI CAPTIONS AVAILABLE!!
A city which has been destroyed and rebuilt some 44 times, and led to the start of the First World War, Belgrade is a symbol of endurance to me. In this vlog, I've put together the videos of me going around beautiful old Belgrade, learning about it's history, dancing while drinking Rakia and enjoying the beautiful sceneries.
Very thankful to my brother Bidhan for helping me put together this
video.
Thanks Phil from Happy Feet Tours. It was one of the best Walking Tours I've been on.

Dubrovnik and Balkan Side Trips
Rick Steves' Europe Travel Guide | Nestled inside its mighty ramparts is Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic. From this remarkably preserved medieval fortress city, we venture into less-touristed corners of the former Yugoslavia. In Bosnia-Herzegovina, we visit Mostar — war-torn in the '90s, but bursting with promise today. In Montenegro, we sail the fjord-like Bay of Kotor and explore its mysterious, mountainous interior.

Komiža, Sunday morning on February 24, 2019
Lyrics (Engish):
I am how I am,
A boy from Yugoslavia,
I sing, I dance,
I drink a lot of wine,
That's how life is in Yugoslavia.
I am how I am,
A young girl from Yugoslavia,
I sing, I dance,
I pick a lot of flowers,
That's how life is in Yugoslavia.
Oh, it is so good,
Good to live,
When everyone is happy,
Happy and loving.
WE ARE HOW WE ARE,
THE CHILDREN OF YUGOSLAVIA,
WE SING, WE DANCE,
WE DRINK A LOT OF WINE:
THAT'S WHAT LIFE IS IN YUGOSLAVIA.
That's what life was,
That's what life was,
That's what life is in Yugoslavia!

YUGOSLAVIA: BELGRADE: KOSOVO PEACE DEAL CELEBRATIONS
Natural Sound
Celebratory gunfire and honking car-horns replaced the sound of air raid sirens and bombing in the Yugoslav capital Belgrade on Wednesday night.
In the suburbs, people fired weapons in the air in celebration and the crackle of fire crackers echoed through the night.
Orange bursts of anti-aircraft tracer bullets lit up the sky across the city which is largely blacked out to save energy after NATO bombings wrecked much of the power grid.
Thousands of smiling, elated Belgraders took to the streets to celebrate the signing of an agreement that could put an end to 11 weeks of NATO bombing of Yugoslavia.
Carrying Yugoslav flags and flares, honking car horns, even opening champaign to celebrate, the citizens of the Yugoslav capital stormed the main Trg Republike square, milling around in cars or on foot on a warm summer evening.
The crowd in downtown Belgrade were mostly young.
Local sources from six other Yugoslav cities, including Nis and Kragujevac, reported a similar celebratory mood among the residents.
Belgrade and its surroundings have been repeatedly targetted in more than two months of NATO air raids aimed at forcing President Slobodan Milosevic to withdraw his troops
from Kosovo and allow international peacekeepers into the province.
The agreement on the troop withdrawal was signed on Wednesday evening by NATO and Yugoslav generals in neighbouring Macedonia.
The Belgraders, two (M) million of them, were often left without water and electricity during the NATO bombings which damaged the capital's power supply system.
They have been under air raid sirens for 78 nights and witnessed NATO missile hit police and army buildings in the very centre of their city.
Most of the Belgraders gathered for celebrations said the prevailing feeling they had was that of relief at the news that the war is over.
Hundreds drove up and down the Belgrade bridges without fear for the first time in two
months.
But some said apart from imminent relief there was little to be happy about.
As soon as the first wave of relief passes, many Serbs are certain to feel disappointed at the peace agreement which envisages that all their soldiers leave Kosovo and hand
over the province to the international, NATO-led, peacekeepers.
Serbs consider Kosovo the heart of their statehood.

LAST BREATH - Just before death -Fishes in Palic lake Serbia -2 april 2011
This is the result of the endless IGNORANCE of people who just does NOT care about nature, harmony ,
clean environment , life in general. People who care ONLY about they personal fucking gain ,
who could walk over the dead body of anyone to rich the money they want. The canalization,
all the sewage water from around Palic lake - Subotica, and other villages ALL GOES IN PALIC lake.
From Palic lake straight goes in the Ludas lake true a channel.
The people of Ludas place had warned the authorities that if this rubbish continues to flow in the
Ludas lake the preserved lake will be dead soon .
The water is so much polluted that the fishes could not get any air bellow the surface.
And till now the temperature was not that high. The water temp is around 15 C , BUT if it goes higher ,
and definitely will go higher , the fishes will die in enormous quantity.
Also the situation will spread on Ludas lake too. The animals in wilderness are more vise and
intelligent than the most of so called people around here. The government does shit ,
coos this place is 200 km from the great Belgrade capitol .
Only Belgrade has to get all the finances for building and improving surroundings.
Subotica is OUT of the important zone!!!!! This is the mentality of masses in Serbia .
I don't know what will change this mentality and consciousness?? AND WHEN?????
I hope that something will happen to avoid greater damage on nature and peoples mind will
switch from retarded idiot to a genius over night!
