Trip to Hawaii
About Hawaii -
There are six major islands to visit in Hawaii: Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii Island. You'll find each island has its own distinct personality and offers its own adventures, activities and sights. Mark Twain called Hawaii, That peaceful land, that beautiful land... the climate, one long delicious summer day, and the good that die experience no change, for they but fall asleep in one heaven and wake up in another.

Trip to Hawaii
About Six Islands -
Kauai
Kauai is the fourth largest of the Hawaiian islands, as well as the fourth most visited by tourists. Kauai's nickname is the Garden Island because of its tropical climate, waterfalls and lush vegetation
Oahu
Oahu is by far the most popular destination among tourists, attracting nearly twice as many visitors as Maui each year. It is the third largest Hawaiian island, It is also the most populated, and home to the capital, Honolulu.
Molokai
Molokai is the fifth largest Hawaiian island, It is best known for agriculture and ranching, but is also notable for being home to the world's highest sea cliffs. Notable attractions to check out include the Molokai volcanoes in the east and west.
Lanai
Lanai was once nicknamed the Pineapple Island because at one point, nearly the entire island was a pineapple plantation. Lanai is now the fifth most visited island, Most of the island remains undeveloped.
Maui
Maui is the second largest island. Maui is most notable for its mountain ranges and valleys, and is often called the Valley Isle. It is the second most popular tourist destination in the state. While visiting Maui, make time to see the Kaanapali and Wailea resort areas and Haleakala.
Hawaii
Hawaii -- also known as the Big Island -- is not only the largest of the Hawaiian islands, it is also the largest island in the United States. The Big Island is the third most visited by tourists each year. When visiting the Big Island, you'll want to see the Maunaloa volcanoes, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Kealakekua Bay.

Waimea falls, Waimea Valley Adventure, Beautiful Hawaii
Our adventure in the beautiful Waimea valley and Waimea falls!!
Waimea Valley, Oahu
Waimea Valley is a beautiful 1,800-acre visitor attraction that is also a sanctuary for rare birds and plants endemic to Hawaii. A trip to this park is a combination of learning about Hawaiian history and culture and appreciation of nature.
Within the park there are 78 reconstructed archaeological sites that show the life of earlier inhabitants of the area. These include religious sites and shrines, sites of former houses and agricultural and fishing areas. Some of the sites have been excavated and restored with storyboard displays explaining their significance. Continuing with the cultural theme, several activities are being offered, including lei making, kapa demonstrations, history walks, hula lessons and Hawaiian games, as well as crafts, music and storytelling with kupuna.
For those more interested in the beauty of nature than the history of man, the park is home to a spectacular botanical collection. This 150-acre site contains more than 5,000 species of tropical and subtropical plants, including native and endangered Hawaiian plants. Visitors can take a self-guided walking tour through the garden.
Educational brochures and plaques provide information along these easy, paved trails. Throughout the park visitors also get the chance to see native and endangered bird species, including the 'alae'ula. Four of the five species of the native 'o'opu freshwater fish can also be spotted in Kamananui Stream.
Perhaps the biggest attraction in Waimea Valley, and focal point of the park, is the 45-foot (13.7 m) Waimea Falls. Visitors can refresh themselves in the cool waters of the pool.

Waimea Canyon (Hawai) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Waimea Canyon in Hawaii.
Waimea Canyon is located on Kauai, the fourth largest island in the Hawaiian Archipelago. The scant canyon landscape is in stark contrast to the dense, tropical rainforests and remarkable variety of plants in the southern part of the island. Due to the spectacular canyon and its immense dimensions this wonderful region was named, 'The Grand Canyon Of The Pacific'.In spite of the desolate landscape, the red earth and rock gives much of the island a warm and captivating ambience. The timeless beauty of the volcanic landscape and the constantly changing colours of the terrain are an intriguing sight. However, Waimea Canyon is not only famous for its beautiful rocks and deep canyons, numerous waterfalls are also part of its appeal. The picturesque Waimea Road travels toward the interior of the island to the most outstanding vantage points as well as to fascinating walking routes such as the Kukui Trail. The steep road and its narrow curves lead to a special attraction, the outstanding and more than one thousand metre high Waimea Canyon Lookout. Waimea Canyon is unique and unspoiled, a true natural wonder and also a precious treasure that reveals the geological history of the splendid island of Kauai.

Insane RV Nomad Hawaii RTR Meet Up in Waimea Bay, Oahu
Today we did the RV impossible: several RV full time nomads met up at the North Shore of Oahu at Waimea Bay Beach Park here in Hawaii!
Since few full time RV nomads actually fly anywhere far, we thought that this RTR in Hawaii in 2018 would be epic, as only the die hard committed nomads with tenacity would be here to enjoy the best weather in the USA now in January!! The continental USA is freezing in the cold as we drink long board Hawaiian ale in the tropical breeze here in paradise! But we dared to buck the Quartzsite, Arizona trend to be here, so we must share in the rewards of the Aloha State!
We are enjoying the best weather here in Oahu, Hawaii. Tasty waves on the north shore at the Pipeline for all surfers (and those of us who like to watch) are here to bask in delight with. Winter is the time to see the best surf action on the north shore of the islands!
Shot 100% by Linescrew1 in and around the island of Oahu in Hawaii.
Catch more fun in the sun here in the Aloha State with RV Crazy as we enjoy the depth of winter in Hawaii.
Stay tuned!
And keep your wheels on the ground! Or your surf board on the surf! lol.

Hawaii (USA) Vacation Travel Video Guide

Travel video about destination Hawaii.
The Hawaiian Islands are located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and form the 50th state of the USA. In the south east of the island of O’Ahu, Honolulu is a modern town and the starting point for most journeys. It also contains the Iolani Palace - once the residence of King David Kalakana -a magnificent Victorian structure in the centre of Honolulu and the only royal palace in the United States. In Pearl Harbour, a museum commemorates the events of the seventh of December 1941 when most of the American Pacific fleet was destroyed by the Japanese. The valley of Nuuanu Pali is of great importance in Hawaiian history. It was here that a deciding battle took place, when King Kamehameh came from Maui and triumphantly drove the troops of the chief of Oahu into the mountains, the result of which formed the political union of the Hawaiian Islands. In winter, the world’s best surfers collect on Sunset Beach, attracted by spectacular waves, some of which reach as high as the tallest church steeples. On the island of Kaua’i, the Wailua is Hawaii’s only navigable river and it flows through some of the exciting locations which were used for Jurassic Park, Raiders Of The Lost Ark and Blue Hawaii. Two volcanoes dominate the extraordinary island of Maui, which also features sandy beaches, green pastures, dense jungle and a bleak lunar-like landscape. On Waimea Beach in 1778, the English sea captain, James Cook, was the first European to set foot on Hawaiian territory. The Waimea Canyon was referred to by Mark Twain as ‘The Grand Canyon of the Pacific’, a massive gorge which has been carved out of the volcanic landscape by the Waimea River. From a Victorian style station there is the narrow-gauge Sugar Cane Train which travels through the once prolific sugar plantations of Kaanapali. Haleakale is the world’s largest dormant volcano with a crater as large as Manhattan. But nowhere else in the world can volcanoes be studied as safely as on Big Island in the Hawaiian Volcanoes National Park The Hawaiian Islands…priceless pearls in the Pacific Ocean.

Waipio Valley Road Driving Down Big Island, Hawaii
Thank you very much for seeing it every time.
Also, if you see this for the first time, please subscribe.
Through this channel, I hope to be able to tell everyone the charm of Hawaii.
Waipio Valley Road is a short steep road in the Big Island of Hawai.
The average grade is 25% and the peak grade reaches 40-45%.
Note: This video does not support influx into Waipio Valley. Also, although it is regulated, it can not be passed only by the performance of the car. You have to know that tight corner braking will occur if 4WD vehicles make sharp cornering on low speed paved roads.
???? Tight Corner Braking Phenomenon
-------------------------------------------------
Driving a vehicle with the centre differential locked, and making a tight turn, can make the car feel as if it is blocked, this is due to the difference in speed required between the front and rear wheels to make the sharp turn.
-------------------------------------------------
Tip 1;You must always have a place to pass each other's vehicle.
Tip 2;You need to have correct feel of the width of your vehicle.
Tip 3;When passing each other, keep in mind to move straight forward.
If you do not have confidence in these, please give up the passage. When passing oncoming traffic in a narrow road, if you bother the surroundings or are confused about driving, never Don't go down the hill.

An afterword:
I have a license to drive Japanese mid-sized cars. A mid-sized car is a four-wheeled vehicle with a total vehicle weight of 5,000 kg to less than 11,000 kg, a maximum loading capacity of 3,000 kg to less than 6,500 kg, and a passenger capacity of 11 to 29 people.
It is a car used to transport people and luggage, not a car used in daily life. And there are not many Japanese who have this license.
I have more than 310,000 miles (500,000 km) of driving experience, and in SUV experience, there are bad roads such as snowy roads, ice, deep sandy roads, and mud.

Hiking to the Summit of Mauna Kea, Big Island of Hawaii
Aloha! I'm Donnie MacGowan and I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. Today, I'd like to take you to the top of Mauna Kea. At 13, 796 feet above sea level, Mauna Kea's summit is the highest point in the State of Hawaii; since its base lies at 19000 feet below sea level, its has a base-to-summit height of 33,000 feet, making it the tallest mountain on earth. It's also one of my most favorite places on earth.
Mauna Kea began forming on the sea floor about one million years ago. Its name means White Mountain in the Hawaiian language and it is snowcapped much of the winter, and the summit is covered with permafrost 35 feet deep. During the ice ages, Mauna Kea's summit was glaciated 3 times, starting about 200000 years ago and ending only 11000 years ago. One can see the U-shaped valleys and cirques, striated bedrock, glacial tills covering the summit area and remnants of ice-damned lava flows from those times. There are even the remains of extinct rock glaciers near the summit.
Produced by Donnie MacGowan; original musical score written and performed by Donald B. MacGowan; videography by Donnie MacGowan and Frank Burgess.
