The Manoa hiking trails are located above Waikiki in the Manoa Valley mountainside. The trails are a somewhat easy but still an adventurous hike through a lush bamboo and guava tree forest.
Oahu is a U.S. island in the Central Pacific, part of the Hawaiian island chain and home to the state capital, Honolulu. Highlights of the city include historic Chinatown and the Punchbowl, a crater-turned-cemetery. Waikiki is an iconic beach, dining and nightlife area. West of Honolulu is Pearl Harbor, site of the WWII's 1941 bombing attack and home to the USS Arizona Memorial.
The prize at the end of this hour hike is a towering 150 ft Oahu waterfall.

There are not many endemic birds left in Hawaii thanks to rats, avian flu (not the same one we so fear) and people. Hawaii contains the majority of the listed endangered species in the US. Flowing lava at night, beautiful views and cool birds in spite of a tick infection which I took with me and which almost sent me home.

Oahu Nature Tours - Part 1
Nick and I decided to go on one of the Oahu Nature Tours. It's a hiking tour with a guide. The one we chose cost about $47 ~ $50 or so each, but it was worth it to have the guide that could point out stuff and explain everything we saw.

This is one of the three Hawaiian islands that I decided to visit. I spent three days there, drove 345 miles by car and visited, incl. the places described below.
I think that three days on such a large island is a bit too little. The distances between the points to travel are longer than on other Hawaiian islands.
Big Island, or Hawaiʻi Island is the largest and the southeasternmost island located in the U.S. state of Hawaii. The island of Hawaiʻi is the third largest island in Polynesia, behind the two main islands of New Zealand. Administratively, the whole island encompasses Hawaiʻi County. The county seat and largest city is Hilo where I lived.

With a four day notice, BD’s Tom Jauncey invited me on a trip to Oahu, Hawaii together with BD team member Sage Stephens. We spent four days exploring some of the most beautiful landscapes the island has to offer, catching every sunrise and sunset. We went on intense hikes on crazy ridges, dove with sharks, ate an absurd amount of acaii bowls, and I captured it all with my FPV drone.

Kauai Island known also as the Garden Island. The tiny tropical island. This is one of the three Hawaiian islands that I decided to visit. I spent three days there, drove 315 miles by car and visited, incl. the places described below. My hotel was in the Kapaa area. It is geologically the oldest and northernmost island of the main Hawaiian Islands. Some parts of Kauai are only accessible by sea or air. Island is characterized by its wealth of lush, rich lands, including vast tropical rainforests, jaw-dropping mountains and stunning beaches. Part of Kauai’s unique charm is the fact that the island has remained relatively undeveloped.

Waterfalls of Oahu - Hidden Dragon | 4k Aerial | Hawaii

We have some very amazing waterfalls here in Hawaii, and most of the big waterfalls can be found in Maui. Here in O'ahu we have plenty falls too, but nothing huge, beside the ones when big rainfalls occur, usually on the winter months.
This waterfall is one of the many waterfalls which is basically has a nice flow only when there is a big downpour or raining continuously for days. So for the last month and a half the weather was pretty much rainy, cloudy, gloomy, so we had plenty time to enjoy the waterfalls her eon the island.
This is the 1st time when actually I was able to film this beauty from bird's eye view, mostly because the weather let me do it.

Oʻahu Oahu known as The Gathering Place, is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands; however, it is the most populous of the islands in the U.S. state of Hawaii, and is the home of Honolulu International Airport. The state capital, Honolulu, is on Oʻahu's southeast coast. Including small close-in offshore islands such as Ford Island and the islands in Kaneohe Bay and off the eastern (windward) coast, it has a total land area of 596.7 square miles (1,545.4 km2), making it the 20th largest island in the United States.
In the greatest dimension, this volcanic island is 44 miles (71 km) long and 30 miles (48 km) across. The length of the shoreline is 227 miles (365 km). The island is the result of two separate shield volcanoes: Waiʻanae and Koʻolau, with a broad valley or saddle (the central Oʻahu Plain) between them. The highest point is Mt. Ka'ala in the Waiʻanae Range, rising to 4,003 feet (1,220 m) above sea level.
