(Epic Motor) Amazing Scenic Hydraulic Elevators @ Macy's - Hawthorn Mall - Vernon Hills, IL
(7-25-19) These are some of my most memorable and favorite childhood elevators. I used to come to this mall all the time as a kid, and I specifically remember riding these elevators (and a few others in the mall).
The elevators themselves are Montgomery (both with epic motors). They have the older Innovation fixtures, and each are on their own controller. These elevators are all around awesome, but I wish they had glass inner doors.

As far as I'm concerned, this store is being relocated to another shopping center in the area, so the future of this elevator is unknown.

This will be my last Carson's video I'll be uploading. I had a plan before liquidations started to visit around half of the Chicagoland stores, and I was able to see 12 of them, including this one.
Do I need to say that this store is closed or no? This store by the way used to be a Lord & Taylor before becoming Carson Pirie Scott in the 90's.
