31 October 2015, Vingroup simultaneously held grand openings for two 5-star resorts, Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort and Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort & Golf, bringing the total capacity of Vinpearl to 5,000 rooms, the largest resort and hospitality portfolio for any brand in Vietnam. The launch of Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort is noteworthy as the first Vinpearl property in Northern Vietnam.
Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort covers the entire exclusive Reu Island. The 47,000 sqm GFA hotel has 384 rooms and stunning 360-degree panoramic view of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Complete with opulent neo-classical design, Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort carries a distinctively fresh image to the Vinpearl brand.
In addition to luxury accommodation, Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort is a new destination for MICE, with Vinpearl Convention Hall and a professional and attentive team. The Hall has 5 modern conference rooms, able to accommodate events with thousands of participants and all the convention needs from corporate customers.
Vinpearl Ha Long Bay is a reasonably priced 5-star beach getaway only a short 3-hour drive from Hanoi, an outstanding feature sure to be welcomed by residents of the capital. Designed to meet the demands of tourism, entertainment and MICE, this first-of-its-kind facility in North Vietnam will help transform Ha Long from a sight-seeing destination into the first choice for holiday retreats and corporate events.
On the same day, 31 October 2015, Vingroup also launched Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort & Golf, the second phase of Vinpearl’s mega project on Phu Quoc Island. Distinctively styled compared with the first phase of Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort, Resort & Golf is clad in classical beauty, where the exquisite French design is in perfect harmony with European classical decorative touches. The resort boasts 402 guest rooms and 220 international-standard villas, meeting the holiday needs from individual customers to large groups, and accommodating a range of prices from a flexible Bed & Breakfast package to full-board.
Together with the 27-hole Vinpearl Golf Club, Vinpearl Land outdoor amusement park and the upcoming Vinpearl Safari and Conservation Park which is expected to open in December this year, Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort & Golf promises a unique beach holiday experience.
With its diversification of products, competitive pricing and opening more large-scale luxury resorts nation-wide, Vingroup continues to deliver on its promise to bring world-class hospitality products and services closer to the public, fulfilling the mission “To create a better life for the Vietnamese people.” Vinpearl projects are integral to Vingroup’s strategy to promote Vienamese tourism and make the country a favored destination for international visitors.
Additional information:
Vinpearl Hotel Management LLC., a subsidiary of Vingroup, operates and manages 7 resorts in Vietnam under the Vinpearl brand: Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort, Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort & Golf, Vinpearl Da Nang Resort & Villas, Vinpearl Nha Trang Resort, Vinpearl Luxury Nha Trang, Vinpearl Nha Trang Bay Resort & Villas, and Vinpearl Ha Long Bay Resort.
There will soon be 8 properties in the portfolio by the end of this year following the opening of Vinpearl Golf Land Resort & Villas.

Vietnam (Việt Nam )Ha Long Bay. Join us as we take a 2 day Halong Legend cruise and kayaking tour in Halong Bay and the Gulf of Tonkin!
Ha Long Bay, a part of the northern Quang Ninh Province, and with easy access from both Hanoi and Halong City (Bai Chay), is rated among the top sights in all of Vietnam. With thousands of towering limestone pillars formed over 500 millions years of climate and geological change, Halong Bay radiates magic every direction you look.
Halong Bay has been named a world heritage site in two consecutive years by Criterion and is rated the number one tourist location in northern Vietnam.
Our two day trip cost us approximately $250 for two nights on board the cruise ship which includes comfortable and zen like interior design, three endless meals, and some of the most beautiful picturesque views you can imagine. Alcoholic drinks came at an additional cost which are tallied throughout the trip and billed on departure.
Two tips:
1. Book early: Payment processing with western credit cards can be a challenge and you may be forced to contact your fraud department due to unusual activity. Make sure to book as early as possible to avoid any unnecessary delays or cancelations. Most cruise operators require payment up front.
2. Bring plenty of cash: If you plan to take part in the spirits of the cruise, BRING CASH. Much of the time, credit card machines will not work in the bay and you will be forced to settle your bill with cash. This is especially important if you plan to go from Ha Long City to Cat Ba Island as you will need to pay for a taxi or bus to Bai Tam beaches and local resorts.

Ha Long Bay Today in 4K. NORTH VIETNAM Travelogue
Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam's most beautiful spots. It's a landmark. It's a UNESCO heritage site. It's one of the best things to do in North Vietnam, in fact many people go to Hanoi just to go see Ha Long Bay. I don't blame them either. These thousand year old limestone cliffs rise from the water like a dragon's back. However, I highly recommend spending at least two days and one night here. Day trips from Hanoi are not worth it because they are so rushed, and travel time is at least six hours- so you only get about three hours on a boat. You won't get to go very far and see many things at all. Stay longer if you can. I know I will the next time I come back to Ha Long Bay.

БУХТА ХАЛОНГ ВЬЕТНАМ ВТОРОЙ ДЕНЬ ПУТЕШЕСТВИЯ / ROSA CRUISE HALONG BAY VIETNAM

Dragon Legend Cruise | Best drone shots of Halong bay: View from sky (in 4K)
A production filmed by Moc Nguyen Production (
Follow the Dragon Legend Cruise ( and visit the marvelous beauty of Halong Bay.
Halong Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin or the Bay of the Descending Dragon consists of 1969 limestone islands on the watery landscape, living local life with some small floating villages, deserted sandy beaches, admirable wonderful caves. A recognized Natural Wonder of the World, Halong Bay is made up of thousands of sculpture-like limestone peaks jutting out of the aquamarine waters, creating islands of varying shapes and sizes for a must-visit destination in lifetime.
This amazing video was filmed in Bai Tu Long Bay area, which is a very quiet and beautiful part of Halong Bay.
Being a part of Halong Bay, the World Heritage Site, Bai Tu Long Bay is well known for its magical beauty of nature being less impacted by mass tourism. It is a bigger part occupying 3 quarters of Ha Long Bay, which is rich in biodiversity, better environment and naturally marvelous landscape. The bay is dominated by thousand limestone karsts and islets which rise out of the waters of the bay;there are some caves and grottos spread throughout the bay. Most of island is uninhabited becoming home of some flora and fauna.
Cruise in Cong Do area, through Tra San, Vung Dang, Cong Dam area to see the most beautiful place in the world, do kayaking through tranquil lagoons and discover the costal marine ecosystem to deeply feel off the beaten track, surprisingly hidden in nature.
Some amazing attractions to be discovered in Bai Tu Long Bay: Cong Do area covering 23 square kilometers with hundreds of limestone islands in rich biodiversity and home of many species. Thien Canh Son cave in Hon Co Island, a nice appealing site for observing the geological value of nature, Vong Vieng fishing village, beauty of local floating life, a very unique local life on water of World Heritage site.
Far from habor, Cong Dam area with the center of Da Xep geological park offers the best spectacular rock formationin the Bay.
Bai Tu Long Bay appears to have fewer grottos in comparison to Halong Bay but it deserts many pristine sandy beaches where you can truly relax to hide from the world. Do not forget the names of Paradise beach, TraGioi, Cat Oan or Cay Bang beach… Having BBQ on one of these beaches are extremely appealing and fascinating.
Getting out of area which is recognized by UNESSCO, Bai Tu Long Bay covers a much bigger area with some inhabited islands (NgocVungIsland, QuanLanIsland, Cong Dong, Cong Tay Island). Bai Tu Long Bay National Park also offers the best insight to nature discovery. It is more than a day and a night to discover the whole unique area of Bai Tu Long Bay but the trip is a must for visitors who looking for off the beaten track experience.

Halong Bay Cruise | Exploring Vietnam | Episode 4
King Kong movie location. How to explore Skull Island, Vietnam travel guide. This is Day 2 of my trip to Halong Bay, Vietnam. You have the option to visit Halong Bay in a single day OR to go for a 2 days cruise, which mean you will sleep in the boat.
You can book a cruise on Halong Bay from any tourism offices or directly online from one of the numerous boat companies. If you stay in Hanoi, a bus will pick you up early in the morning at your hotel and will take you to Halong Bay. You cannot get lost since there is always a guide with you. The ride is usually included in the package. From there a small boat will take you to a bigger boat where you will spend two amazing days. Once on the boat, you will start the trip with a delicious Vietnamese 5 course meal. The food is usually included in the package, except for the drinks. After lunch and while the boat is leaving the harbour, a member of the staff will show you your room. After that you have some free time to chill on the upper deck of the boat and enjoy the beautiful view of Halong Bay.
Hạ Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination in Quảng Ninh Province, Vietnam. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various shapes and sizes.
Hạ Long Bay has an area of around 1,553 km2, including 1,960–2,000 islets, most of which are limestone.
Around 4pm the boat will stop in a pearl oyster farm where you will have the chance to see how pearls are made. You can also buy pearls, they built a shop on water....
At 7:30pm a delicious dinner will be served on the boat. After that you can either chill in the lounge (with weak wifi) or go for squid fishing from the front deck, the boat will provide the equipment. Note that the sunset is absolutely fantastic!
Some boat companies are dedicated for party animals with music and djs onboard. The boat I chose was more of a family type so I slept early. The bed rooms are quiet nice, all made of wood, with bathrooms and nice ocean views.
The breakfast is served at 7:30am. While you're eating the boat will take you to another part of the bay where you can visit the Sung Sot cave. After that, it will be time to pack as the boat will slowly return to the harbour where a bus will be waiting for you and take you back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Ha Long Bay:Sung Sot Cave, Vietnam; Not far from Hanoi Vietnam
Ha Long Bay & Sung Sot Cave were both equally amazing. Traveling throughout Ha Long Bay reminded me of the Phi Phi Islands in the south of Thailand but there were also amazing caves throughout the islands of Ha Long Bay which allowed it to stand apart.

Vietnam Travel - Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Halong Bay 3-4 days trip
Vietnam is a place of adventures and quite apt for solo travel. Travellers usually travel either north to south from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh or vice versa.
This video is a part of my 2 weeks solo backpacking trip to Vietnam. This video describes 4 days in Hanoi (the capital of Vietnam) which includes 1 day Ninh Binh trip and 2 days to the beautiful Halong Bay (hideaway tour with overnight on a private island).
Halong Bay includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. It has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ha Long Bay and Sung Sot Cave, Day 2 - Vietnam 4K Travel Channel
In the morning, while we come on deck, the first supply ships are already on its way. Ferrocement ships bring fresh water or dispose the waste water. For a short time, the sun also shows itself a little timid so that we can at least see the blue sky. After breakfast the ship departs to the the islet Bo Hon. Here, we visit the Sung Sot cave. The cave belongs to the biggest caves in the world. It is subdivided in two halls, where the smaller one is more a foyer. The big hall has a height of 30 m and is walkable in the length of 500 m. Bizarre rock formations and mountains form a unique cave landscape. It is colorful illuminated in a typically Asian way.
On the way back we take a slightly more northern route. The rocks we see are smaller than the ones on day one. The weather has again slightly deteriorated, so that the rocks form a mystical landscape in the haze.
In a quiet moment we find time to get to find out more about our guide Vu Hoang Chuong. When we ask him about the Vietnam War, he tells us that he was still a small child at that time was. His father was hit by a deadly shrapnel and his mother seriously injured. She now lives from a small pension for war victims. He then grew up with foster parents. Later, his uncle brought him to Hong Kong, where he could work in the hotel. Since he was not recognized as a refugee, he had to leave the country again after four years .
Since then, he tried to gain a professional foothold through training. He is currently working in the tourist industry. It pains us to hear that the wounds of war are not fully healed yet.
The bay is spanned by a huge suspension bridge, that connects Ha Long with Bach Dang. Gigantic pillars, that will soon make it possible to cross the bay with a cableway, arise in front of it. At the terminus one will have a splendid viewpoint over the bay. On the other end, a theme park is under construction. A Ferris wheel is already there. Everything indicates that this tourism is in its infancy. The forecasts indicate that tourism in Southeast Asia will grow again by 2025 by 50%.
We make our way back to Hanoi, which we reach again after 4 hours.

please read more:
