HIDDEN TREEHOUSE in Malaysia - Discovering Penang Island
We found an incredible hidden treehouse in Malaysia while exploring the Tropical Spice Gardens. The most fun discovering Penang Island is sometimes found outside of George Town, but many tourists don’t leave the George Town historical district. We’re here to show you what northern Penang Island is all about!
First we got dropped off at the Tropical Spice Gardens in Northern Penang Island where we got to tour an 8 acre tropical forest. Malaysia is a great climate for growing all sorts of tropical herbs and spices. This is one of the coolest tourist activities we’ve done while discovering Penang Island and it’s tropical surroundings. If you looking for different things to do in Penang, the Tropical Spice Gardens should be high on your list. Save 10% of your ticket price (MYR 26 / $6USD) by booking online.
Next up we stumbled upon a hidden treehouse in Malaysia which was built as a beautiful treehouse restaurant overlooking the famous beach of Batu Ferringhi Penang. The treehouse restaurant was called Tree Monkey and it was mostly Thai Cuisine. Ryan got a coconut ice-cream banana split which he is still craving to this day haha. Not many people know about this hidden treehouse because it’s located within the Tropical Spice Garden grounds. However, there are limited tables on the view side of the restaurant so it’s best to call ahead to make a reservation!
Last but certainly not least we walked directly across the street from the hidden treehouse and tropical spice garden to Batu Ferringhi Beach for a beautiful sunset. No Malaysia travel month would be complete without a firey pink sunset! The beach was relatively calm and lacked tourists which we prefer. Batu Ferringhi beach was the perfect place to end this Penang vlog overlooking the calm and peaceful waters. We weren’t expecting so much from northern Penang Island, also known as Pulau Pinang, but we are thankful to have experienced its beauty.
If you have any questions about the hidden treehouse in Malaysia, discovering Penang Island or the Tropical Spice Gardens leave a comment down below! We will catch you in the next Penang vlog, until then, seeya!

TRAIN MISSION FROM KUALA LUMPUR TO PENANG | Butterworth to Georgetown Travel Vlog 086, 2017
At 2am we decided to book the KTM Train from Kuala Lumpur to Penang on the ETS line! It actually goes to Butterworth train station, next to Butterworth ferry port, and then you need to take the Penang Ferry. ⬇ Click 'Show More' to expand ⬇
Dayum, we were sort of prepared for it, but didn't realise how long it would take to train and ferry our way from Kuala Lumpur to Penang. The ferry portion was easy, as was the initial train, the only long part was the 4 hour train covering the most distance from KL.
The Butterworth KTM station doesnt really have any sign posting to get to the Penang Ferry, but it is pretty straight forward.
Georgetown seems like an awesome place, after a few days looking around we're pleased we managed to squeeze George Town and Penang into our Malaysia adventures!

Penang motorcycle: Beating the red light
Feel free to comment, this is what I experienced while driving around Penang Island.
Crossing to Thailand - or is this HEAVEN | Singapore to Germany motorcycle trip | Malaysia
It is time to leave Malaysia for Thailand. We were very excited and very scared, because this was our first border crossing that we have not done before. To make is clear we crossed several times before from Singapore to Malaysia and back when we lived in Singapore.
So we woke up around 5.30 and headed towards Wang Kelian border, that is on Malay side. On Thai side it is called Wang Prachan. The place itself is somewhat remotely located around 40 km from Kuala Perlis town (where we stayed overnight).
All went well when we were crossing. We first got our visas (stamps) than were directed towards the Customs office. Older gentleman was a bit grumpy at first saying our ownership documents are not right. Thank god there was another officer who decided to help us, 30 minutes later we had all the necessary import papers and we headed into Thailand!
When we crossed it was before 9 am in Thailand, so the insurance guy at the border wasnt open yet (we didnt know they only start at 9). We got our insurance later in the day. If you need one we suggest go to the post office, whether they will have one or they will help you find a spot where to get one.
Roads in Thailand are great! We crossed the border and rode another 185 km towards a little resort called Heavenly Hill Resort Trang! Worked all morning and day and in the evening relaxed by the pool and had a beer or two :)
We adopted a charity Save the Children and want to raise USD 10,000. Your help and support is what suffering kids around the globe need! You can donate at
Enjoy and stay safe guys!

Chinatown's Best-Kept Secret - KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA
TIME STAMPS: 1:41 The Street Where the Secret Is Located; 3:25 The Building Where the Secret Is Located; 4:55 The Secret Place Revealed; 10:25 Tea Ice and a Musical Montage; 11:45 A Short Tour; 18:05 Summary and Conclusion
A few days ago, a friend of mine brought me to her favorite place in Chinatown. A mutual friend had shown it to her. I was so impressed with this place that I decided to go back with my camera and show it to you.
There are lots of interesting areas to explore in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown here in Malaysia. And there are plenty of temples, markets, cafes, and restaurants, both old and new to check out. But this place struck me as a little bit special. And I hope my video shows you why.
Cheers,

Please watch: Bhutan entry permit / entry pass for Indians. Immigration process, Documents, Currency explained.

Hello travel enthusiasts, I have heard a lot about the street art in Peneng but I all those readings and videos couldn't do justice to this amazingly cool place.
Georgetown is such a cool spot, the street art is all pretty close in a bunch but can be found all round the streets of Penang as well as in some of the Art Gallery spots.
I have also covered the famous Kapitan Restaurant in Penang which is very famous for its pot Biriyani and Nasi Kandar
All in all, if you visit Penang be sure to check out the street art at Georgetown area.
