Huge climbing complex 'The Block' about to open in Chattanooga

Finally, the largest downtown climbing complex in the United States is being built in Chattanooga. And it's almost finished.

When it's done, The Block will feature 28,000 square feet of climbing wall space, much of it on the outside of the building for all to see.

The inside will include an obstacle course made of boulders and a 70-foot-long cave.

The $6.5 million dollar complex will open on Oct. 13, just in time to host the closing ceremonies of the RiverRocks festival.

Ruby Falls Zip Line

This is the zip line at Ruby Falls in Chattanooga, TN.
There are two types of zip lines at Ruby Falls.
The Zip Line (Which is what me and my son did) and
Zip Line Adventure.
If you are thinking of going I recommend the Zip Line Adventure, because the length of the video is the actual time it takes someone to do the zip line.
We waited in line for 15 minutes, and the zip line took less than a minute.
And all for the low cost of $35 per person : ^ (
I made better zip lines when I was a kid.

Winchester TN named in '10 Most redneck Cities' list

Winchester has been ranked as one of the ten most redneck cities in Tennessee.

The Franklin County seat came in third on a list compiled by RoadSnacks.

The study looked at the number of Walmarts, gun shops and tobacco stores among other factors.

Rockwood placed second on the list, and Bolivar came in first.

Rock City This attraction on Lookout Mountain offers amazing views of the Southern countryside as well as botanical gardens and a 140-foot-tall manmade waterfall known as High Falls. Its highlight is the viewpoint known somewhat morbidly as Lover's Leap.

The marker at the summit of Lookout Mountain claims you can see seven U.S. including: Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.
