New Jersey's NW frontier, Sussex County
A video tour of New Jersey's NW frontier, Sussex County. Most visitors to NJ only picture NJ as an overpopulated chunk of real estate next to NYC, judging the state by visuals of oil refineries and industrial parks that are seen passing through the I-95 corridor. Sussex county is one of the last parts of the state to be touched by urban sprawl, and lies mostly in the ridge and valley province, which is characterized in the county by nearly 50% of the acreage being wildlife refuge, lakes, streams, rivers, state parks and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
