Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal (Himalayan spirit Adventure)
Everest Base Camp Trekking is one of the most famous trekking destinations for adventure-seekers in Nepal. The Everest Base Camp Trekking is also referred to as Everest Base Camp –Kala Patthar Trek as the EBC Trek goes through the Kala Patthar region of the Everest. While the Everest Base Camp Trek offers a great opportunity to witness the world’s tallest mountain peak Mount Everest from a very close distance, the trek is also equally adventurous. The major highlights of the Everest Base Camp Trek are Namche Bazaar, popular region of Kala Patthar and the Everest Base Camp itself. Everest Base Camp Trekking traverses through the majestic looking mountains clad with snow, colorful monasteries, the famous Namche Bazaar and the conserved region of the Sagarmatha National Park. This also provides one with the opportunity of viewing at the Mountain Everest, world’s tallest mountain peak, from incredibly close distance.
The trek begins from Kathmandu with a flight to Lukla or the Tenzing-Hillary Airport. Flight to Lukla itself can be no less than an adventure as the airport is enlisted as the most dangerous airport in the world, by virtue of the location, altitude and topography. The real Everest Base Camp Trek commences from Lukla, when you start your trek to Namche and the Base Camp crossing many Sherpa villages and settlement areas on the way. Another feature of the Everest Base Camp Trek is the opportunity to visit Gokyo Valley, the Gokyo-Ri or the peak and the beautiful Gokyo Lake. Gokyo is one of the most beautiful villages in the Khumbhu region of Everest. Also, the popular Cho-La Pass lies along the Everest Base Camp Trek which offers great views of the mountains including the all famous Everest.
The total cost for the trip or the tour depends on several factors as per your convenience. The preferred type of accommodation in Kathmandu or Pokhara makes a difference in the totality of the cost (budget to 5 star accommodations). The chosen mode of transport also affects the cost of your package, for example the prices may vary widely from flight compared to private car / van, tourist or local buses. The number of guides and porters too affect the total cost of your trip. For these reasons the same route / tour price may vary considerably. If you want any further information regarding price then you can also visit our official site.

Into The Mind is a filmmaking exploration that has lead the Sherpas Cinema and Camp 4 Collective crews all over the globe. However the two companies first collaboration took place in Nepal, in the heart of the Himalayan mountain Range. In a rare opportunity filmmakers Dave Mossop, Renan Ozturk and athlete Rory Bushfield set out on a Vision Quest to capture the world's most impressive mountain range, using the latest time lapse and film making technologies. Forced to travel on the tail end of on the monsoon season with rainy weather the team is forced to improvise. Renan introduces Dave and Bushy to a local Sherpa named 'Karma Tsering' a man that allows them to capture the internal world of Nepalese culture and shapes the main vision behind the film.
INTO THE MIND:
From the makers of the award winning film All.I.Can, comes the new feature film: INTO THE MIND. Blur the lines between dream state and reality, as you perceive the world through the minds of many. Into the Mind contemplates the experiences passed between mentors and peers to paint a philosophical portrait of human kind. What drives us to overcome challenge? How do we justify risk? What forces are at the core of a mountain addiction? Unique athlete segments over a multitude of mountain sport genres depict the connectivity of Earth, and window into never seen before moments. Explore how we begin our perception of self, construct the foundations of confidence, and are ultimately led up the path of self-actualization.
As Buddha once said, The mind is everything. What you think you become.
Into The Mind is about becoming.

Nepalese adventure junkies explore Ladakh
On April 18, 2018 Rustic Himalayan Adventure and our guests together a team of 10 went on a magical journey biking along the jagged trails of the northern mountains to Ladakh. This journey was a whole new Narnia of the real world. We were out on the road for days surrounded by the snow frosted mountains, the brown desert hills, ice walls, deep crystal blue lakes, open vast fields that stretched out beyond sight, and the people whose hearts were warm and their hands that welcomed us with them but the most important thing was that we made memories that would last us a lifetime. Along with the fun, the landscapes, the chitchat and the various episodes during our trip, we were able to free our souls to the adventure spirit –we had reached Ladakh and it was simply amazing.

Island Peak summit attempt 6189m.
October 2019. i’ve spent almost a month in Nepal and 22 days of them were in the Himalayas. after successfully finishing Everest basecamp with such amazing group of people i met with my other group to redo the the whole trip to a certain point then make our way to Island peak.
One person from the first group decided to stick around to do attempt the summit.
So after last minute shopping and preps, we took a chopper back to Lukla to redo the whole route upto Dingboche and from there we’ll take a different route from EBC.
It took us 9 days to Reach Island peak basecamp to get some training and prep for the summit push.
After our last meal of the day at about 6pm we went to bed to wake up at 11pm the same day, so we started the push at exactly 12:30am. it took us almost 6 hours to reach crampon point the trail was slippery with loose rocks and it was dark. So we gear up for some mountaineering action and drop our rucksacks over at that point and continue the push through Glaciers and big crevasses while using ascenders and figure of 8s.
After finishing that technical part we were able to see our final push to the summit it was about 200meters steep ascend to the summit which usually takes around 2 good hours. the angle of steepness was ranging between 70-90 degrees. we were using ascenders and crampons all the way and sometimes we had a luxury of using the repelling rope as a support to ascend with both arms.
So we reached the top at 10 in the morning. the weather was so perfect and clear and was had no other parties with us, we owned the summit for 45 minutes.
So on the way back we wanted to pass by island peak basecamp for a cup of tea and gather our belongings then head to Chukkung for an early leave with a helicopter. Summit push and the way back took us 22 hours of exhausting trekking.
So on this trip i decided not to cover the trip through social media yet focus on filming the whole thing, i ended up with 200GBs worth of footage from my main camera and my 2 action cams. some of the footage’s quality is really low and some out of focus. Shooting run and gun while trekking could get really tough so sometimes i just get whatever i can and deal with it in post.
Hope you guys enjoy the journey.

Presenting ‘Glimpses of Kathmandu’, a 4K quality video exploring the city’s unique culture, people and spirit.
Shot and edited by the Nepali filmmaker, Umes Chaguthee, a.k.a. Chuku:
Music by Outtallectuals artists, Byzantine Time Machine:
Backstory:
We came across this 4K fan-made video of Kathmandu, set to Byzantine Time Machine's music, and it has totally blown our minds how epic it is. We then had to ask Chuku about his inspiration and why he chose this track for the video, and here is his response:
“This is my first project, so I just wanted to start from my city, capture the beauty of where I was born and grew up. I also wanted to make the music by myself but I don’t produce very well yet so I decided to go with this song :D…. I thought even the song sounds Arabian, it would be the perfect fit for my video, and the music and video will blend really good so then I went with this song.”

Nepal travel and Himalayan trekking in a less touristy part of the Annapurna region
Video of my second solo trip. Nepal 5 dec - 23 dec 2017.
Still new to editing haven't done any since last trip. Constructive criticism is most welcome!
All shot on Gopro Hero Black 5. Most shots are with the Karma Grip to be able to focus on the trip and stay in the moment instead of fiddling with the camera all the time.
Itinerary of the trek and places I stayed are in the end of the clip.

Himalaya ' Caravan ' movie scenes Part 1 - French movie shot in Nepal
In a village in the North-Western Himalayas, Tinl, a charismatic old chieftain, whose eldest son has just died, refuses to allow the young Karma to lead the yak caravan. They both end up leading on two different routes. This is the story of their rivalry in the Himalayas.
Himalaya is a story set against the backdrop of the Nepalese Himalayas. At an altitude of five thousand metres in the remote mountain region of Dolpa, Himalaya is the story of villagers who take a caravan of yaks across the mountains, carrying rock salt from the high plateau down to the lowlands to trade for grain. An annual event, the caravan provides the grain that the villagers depend on to survive the winter. The film unfolds as a story of rivalry based on misunderstanding and distrust, between the aging chief and the young daring herdsman, who is both a friend and a rival to the chief's family, as they struggle for leadership of the caravan.
The film is a narrative on the both traditions and the impermanent nature of human struggle to retain and express power in the face of the gods. The gods triumph is the call that echoes at the end of the film and expresses the balancing of karmic destinies. The extreme environment of the Himalayas is magnificently contrasted to the delicacy of humanity and the beauty of Tibetan culture.
Himalaya was shot in widescreen over nine months on location in a region that can only be reached on foot, with all but two characters played by real chiefs, lamas and local villagers. Director Eric Valli has lived in Nepal since 1983 and is also a photographer and author. His work is regularly published in National Geographic, GEO and Life magazines.
