On June 21st, 2012, I spent the night at The Pride House in Jefferson, Texas. The Pride House is a beautiful and elegant historic home turned bed and breakfast. It is also very haunted by, not just one, but several resident spirits. This video you are about to see is comprised of some of the many photographs I took documenting my stay there.

HISTORY:
The home is documented as the first bed and breakfast in Texas, known as the Brown-Bender home; built in the 1880’s by Daisy Brown and her husband, George. They had six children. Daughter, Jenny died at the age of 15 succumbing to extensive burns she received after catching her nightgown on fire Christmas Day.
The current owner, whose name is also Jenny, had only owned the house a couple of months and lives in Dallas, she refuses to stay in the house alone. When she comes to town, she stays in the cottage out back. Sometime whistling can be heard and someone calls “you who.” She always answers thinking someone has come in the house, but she always finds herself alone.
There are EVPs that have been recorded in the home and a photograph has been taken of a spirit coming down the stairs.

The first recorded bed and breakfast in Texas, The Pride House, burned down early Wednesday morning in Jefferson.
The Jefferson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at around 3:20 a.m. about smoke coming from the house located at 409 E. Broadway St.
Assistant Chief II for the fire department, Victor Perot, described it as a total loss.
Nothing was salvageable, he said. It's going to be a total loss.
Perot said upon arrival he saw a lot of smoke coming from the back of the house and that the fire burned through both the top and bottom floors. Although the case is currently under investigation, he added that he thinks the fire started in the kitchen.
The fire looked like it started in or around the kitchen, but I don't know what the cause was, he said.
The home was built in the 1880s and had been featured in numerous television shows about ghosts and the paranormal as it was believed that the children spirits of the original owner, George W. Brown, haunted the house.
No one was in the house at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported as the house behind it wasn't affected.
The house was recently put up for sale by owner Jenny Lovelace and was being handled by East Texas Realty. The office wouldn't offer any information about what would happen since the house burned down.
Perot said he wished Ms. Lovelace the best and that the fire department would do their best to get to the bottom of this.
We're going to try to see what really happened, he said. This was the first bed and breakfast in Texas and it had been here a long time. We just pray for the owner and wish her the best.

Sonshine Paranormal a haunted mansion in East Texas
This is a great EMF session the spirit uses the EMF meter to communicate with us direct questions and direct answers confirming what the client had reported . One of the reports is that when the client would go out on there balcony they would be locked out another report is wile painting the client would be poked in the butt, report that the client would see a man that was burned on one side of his face and said his name was Isaak another report is they hear children talking and playing . listen to Isaak tell on the children that are still there for locking the client out of the house and poking her in the butt !!! Trip to Jefferson Texas this Weekend part 1
Cool East Texas Town known for being haunted. It was the only town in Texas directly involved in the Cival War. They have many different ghost tours including walking, homes, and train tours. They coolest part to me is how time has past it by. The feel of Mayberry.
