Belarus: Giant Lenin head turns up in Belarusian car park
Footage of a gigantic bronze-coloured sculpture of Lenin's head found in a car park in Loshany, Minsk region, emerged on Thursday.
The huge sculpture was gifted to the Stalin Line Historical Complex, to whom the car park belongs to, by the Belarusian Military Academy. A picture of the head went viral after it was posted on Russian social network VK with the caption: They parked Lenin in the Stalin Line.

Crosses - a remand prison in St. Petersburg , one of the most famous and largest in Russia. The original building dates to 1867 on the site of a huge wine warehouse.
Initially, the prison was designed for criminals and contained more than a thousand single cells, whose prisoners wererequirex to work.
In 1884, construction of a new prison was begun.using the prison labour themselves. As construction continued, the old buildings were torn down....
The two prisoner cells had single windows. The complexincluded an administrative building with a church, entrance building with warders' apartments, houses for overseers, a kitchen with a bakery, four hospital buildings, an infectious diseases block, a sauna, a boiler room with an electric generator, and a smithy - some 20 freestanding buildings, some of which were connected by junctions or cast-iron gangways. At that time, according to the Chief Prison Administration, this was the most exemplary prison in Europe and the biggest....
Before the Revolution, as exampled by the photos shown, the prison held both criminals and political prisoners. L. Trotsky, A. Lunacharsky, and V. Antonov-Ovseyenko all spent time within these walls...
.In 1917, with the exception of Kerensky, who had fled, all members of the Provisional Government were incarserated here...
In 2006 the authorities decided to build a new prison, as the present Crosses has become overcrowded, the condition of the building is in poor repair and does not comply with European standards. The site chosen is outside the centre of St. Petersburg in the municipal city of of Kolpino.........

Murom is a historical city in Vladimir Oblast, Russia, situated on the River Oka. The Primary Chronicle ( Повѣсть времѧньныхъ лѣтъ) mentions the settlement as early as 862. It is, thus, one of the oldest cities in Russia. In 900 CE, Murom was an important trading post from the Volga Bulgaria ( or also known as Volga-Kama Bulghar, a state that existed between the 7th - 13th centuries at the confluence of the Volga and Kama Rivers )to the Baltic Sea.
Between 1010 and 1393, it was the capital of a separate principality, whose rulers included Saint Gleb, assassinated in 1015 and canonized in 1071.

Колпинские байки #17: Вертолёт
Жителям города Колпино уже много лет знакомо и привычно такое название как «Вертолёт». Народная молва окрестила так перекресток бульвара Трудящихся и улицы Веры Слуцкой. На маршрутках так и указывается название остановки «Вертолёт». Но теперь уже не все знают откуда появилось такое название и считают присутствие настоящего армейского вертолета на этом пятачке Колпинской байкой.
Но это не байка, а чистая правда. Наверное, стоит напомнить историю того самого вертолета...

Бойцов мы находим, если получается узнаем их имена, ищем родственников и хороним на родной земле со всеми почестями.
Все железо похожее на оружие и боеприпасы остается в лесу, дабы не иметь проблем с законом.В редких случаях некоторые образцы деактивируются прямо в лесу для последующей передачи в музеи.
Мы не занимаемся продажей находок. Нас это не интересует.
Немецких солдат если находим,то передаем останки или их местонахождение в организацию, которая занимается поиском немецких солдат в России.
Это не наша работа.Это наше Хобби. Мы занимаемся этим ради интереса и душевного удовлетворения, дабы внести свой вклад в историю не на словах, а делом
Зарплату нам не платят. Часть затрат окупают ролики на Ютюбе и помощь наших друзей подписчиков.
Чтобы делать каждый ролик интересным мы упорно работаем на сьемках и стараемся подавать картинку в самом лучшем качестве, выбирая интересные ракурсы для сьёмки. Для этого мы используем много техники – видеокамеры Sony FDR-AX100E, Sony HDR-PJ650E, Sony FDR-X3000R, и даже экшн-камеры GoPro HERO 3, Kodak Pixpro SP360.
У нас большая команда и для копа мы используем сразу несколько металлоискателей разных производителей, а именно АКА Сигнум и Беркут, Garret AT Pro и Pro pointer, Tesoro Tejon и даже популярный Golden Mask Deep Hunter Pro 2.
В каждом выпуске на канале gagarin мы стараемся рассказать о многих интересных темах как как металлопоиск, коп, золото, клад, блиндаж. Ведь история, археология и находка монет, сами копатели или английское excavation тесно связаны между собой. В поиске кладов мы, кладоискатели, чаще всего ведём раскопки второй мировой войны и в поиске клада иногда сталкиваемся с результатами работы черных копателей, чей промысел – коп по войне, коп по старине, ВОВ. Мы – белые копатели, а точнее кладоискатели, и даже в 2018 году коп и великая отечественная война для нас это как world of tanks для вас, наших зрителей.
