My trip to Russia (Siberia) November 2018
Novosibirsk, founded in 1893 at the future site of a Trans-Siberian Railway bridge crossing the great Siberian river of Ob, first was named Novonikolayevsk (Новониколаевск), in honor both of Saint Nicholas and of the reigning Tsar Nicholas II. It superseded nearby Krivoshchekovskaya village, which was founded in 1696. The bridge was completed in the spring of 1897, making the new settlement the regional transport hub. The importance of the city further increased with the completion of the Turkestan–Siberia Railway in the early 20th century. The new railway connected Novonikolayevsk to Central Asia and the Caspian Sea

Siberia Drone Flight: Siberia is a vast Russian province encompassing most of Northern Asia, with terrain spanning tundra, coniferous forest and mountain ranges including the Ural, Altai and Verkhoyansk. Lake Baikal, in its south, is the worlds deepest lake, circled by a network of hiking paths called the Great Baikal Trail. The Trans-Siberian Railway passes Baikal on its route between Moscow and the Sea of Japan. Lake Baikals largest island, Olkhon, is a center of shamanism marked by Shaman Rock, an outcropping held sacred by indigenous islanders. The city of Irkutsk, the western gateway to Baikal, offers classical Russian architecture and Russian Orthodox churches. The Altai Mountains are river-rafting and mountaineering destinations with diverse wildlife and ecosystems. The Siberian Traps, a region of stairlike hills formed by ancient volcanoes, include Putorana Nature Reserve, which protects lakes and animals like reindeer and snow sheep. Novosibirsk, Siberias largest city, houses wood-lace buildings and the State Art Museum. // Irkutsk is a city on the Angara River in eastern Siberia, Russia. The river embankment is lined with hurches, including the Epiphany Cathedral (Sobor Bogoyavleniya), with gilded onion domes, and the Spasskaya Church, with its soaring bell tower. The restored neoclassical Moskovskie Vorota arch is also by the water. Near Kirov Square, the Irkutsk Regional Art Museum has ancient icons and more recent Russian artworks. // Ulan-Ude is a city in East Siberia, Russia. The main square Ploshchad Sovetov is home to the huge Lenin Head Monument. The City History Museum is set within the former house of a tea merchant. Nearby is the 18th-century Odigitrievsky Cathedral. To the north, Datsan Rinpoche Bagsha is a Buddhist temple with gilded stupas and sweeping city views. The outdoor Ethnographic Museum displays traditional Buryat wooden yurts. [wikipedia // Google]

I went to Kaisan, an island about one and a half hours south of Kazan. Many visitors are looking for a place in the town of Uspenski, a place on the island of Svijashsk. The church is said to be a place to visit even if it is not a Russian Orthodox believer like Myeongdong Cathedral in Korea. It is because of the fortified city of Sviyashsk that it is famous between the Volga and Svija rivers, near Suviyashvsk. The fortress is said to have been built in just four weeks at the time of the occupation of Ivan IV, when the Ivan IV emperor established the throne and ruled the Tsar and extreme terrorism. In order to enter the Church of Svijašsk, your body and mind must be clear and tidy. You do not have to wear a towel on your head and wear shorts. So they're dressed. Women can only go in a scarf to wear a veil that covers their head and chest. The Church of Svijašsk is a unique structure that retains the style of the time when the Orthodox Church of Greece was spread to Russia. This church shows the early days of the Russian Orthodox Church. The Russian Orthodox Church is the largest Eastern Orthodox Church in the world, with about 50 million Russian Orthodox believers currently in Russia. I prayed for the health of my family and the future of my children. I wish everyone was healthy.

Khabarovsk (Russian: Хаба́ровск; IPA: [xɐˈbarəfsk]; Chinese: 伯力; pinyin: Bó Lì; Manchu: ᠪᠣᡥᠣᡵᡳ; Möllendorff: Bohori) is the largest city and the administrative center of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia,[4] located 30 kilometers (19 mi) from the Chinese border, at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers, about 800 kilometers (500 mi) north of Vladivostok. The city also became the administrative center of the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia in 2002. It is the second largest city in the Russian Far East, after Vladivostok. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 577,441.[12]Khabarovsk (Russian: Хаба́ровск, khah-BAH-ruhvsk) is a city on the Amur river in the Russian Far East, near the Chinese border. Often overlooked due to its proximity to Vladivostok, Khabarovsk could easily be a highlight in the long line of predominately dull cities along the Trans-Siberian. But while most cities look their best when the sun is out, only in few is the effect as profound as in Khabarovsk – attractive parks, beaches, outdoor beer tents with live music, and classic architecture awaits if the weather gods favour you. Even if you are unfortunate, it's not a loss to go indoors: the city also houses some of the best museums east of Moscow. However, crime is overall moderate (with one of the notorious racial ethnic gangs known as Stolz Khabarovsk who often has a violent reputation for both LGBT travelers and foreigners of African or Asian descent), so it is best to travel with utmost caution. There is a fantastic cluster of top notch museums along Shevchenko Street, just behind the tall blue-domed Church of Theotokos on Komsomolskaya Square towards the river and stadium. Not only are the museums some of the best in the far east, they also make their home in some impressive century-old buildings dating back to before the revolution. After a visit, the nice river promenade is just a short walk away, so you can wash all that new found knowledge away with some pivos in good company.
Far East Regional Museum (Хабаровский краеведческий музей), 11 Shevchenko St, ☎ +7 (4212) 312 054, [1]. 10AM–6PM. One of the oldest museums in the Russian far east, laid out in 6 sections in an impressive 1894 red-brick building. For the most part it's leaps and bounds ahead of the region's other museums, and with nearly half a million artifacts in the collection, they can afford to be picky about what they display. The ethnographic section with displays of indigenous cultures from around the Amur is unusually informative, but the zoology section is also worth a look, stuffed animals galore! To top it off, it has actually seen some substantial renovations lately, and they even have a few English captions here and there. May be worth considering but the price for foreigners is high for what you see. 300 rubles. edit
Far Eastern Art Museum (Дальневосточный художественный музей), 7 Shevchenko St, ☎ +7 (4212) 328 338. Tu–Su 10AM–5PM. Established in the thirties and now housed in the building of a former officers' club. Them seem to take most pride in their collection of Far Eastern aboriginal art, but they also have a rare collection of ancient Russian religious icons and Japanese porcelain. In the classic exhibition they have a few painters you may have heard of like Titian and Garofalo, but also some lesser known Russian masters. Foreigners 150 rubles. edit
Far Eastern Military Museum (Военно-исторический музей ДВО), 20 Shevchenko St (across from the Art Museum), ☎ +7 (4212) 326 350. Tu–Su 10AM–5PM. Another impressive building from the turn of the 20th century, this one was the state bank up until the 1930s. Weapons galore propped up by medals and other memorabilia. If you are not interested in these sort of things, you can probably give it a miss, but they have a few cool war propaganda posters from the Great Patriotic War and a luxury officers' railway carriage from the twenties in the courtyard, if you need to entertain yourself for a while while any male company goes into boy mode. edit

About Russia sometimes say, a Riddle wrapped in a mystery inside a puzzle. The mystery is dissolved through the vast expanse of his native land, lies safe in the depths of the mountains, poured in tide rivers, is stored in the depths of the soul of our people.
The key to the solution of the Russian soul tried to find our great writers, poets, composers, artists. This search captured and the couple - artists Dmitry Gusev and Maria Shadchnev . The language of images and colors they help us to touch the deep essence of Russia, to feel the secret beating of her heart.

Stalin-Fest Draws Admiring Crowds In Siberia
A city festival in Novosibirsk celebrated the 140th anniversary of Josef Stalin's birth with dancers, DJs, and discussions. The Soviet dictator was responsible for millions of deaths, but Russian officials have often sought to whitewash his legacy, and many admirers showed up for the party.

Gunter for FeelRussia (full version english)
FeelRussia’s short films have become a part of a global project, that promotes Russia. These movies are diaries of tourists’ travels who have come to Russia for the first time. Off-screen travelers expand upon a marvelous country, meeting which has entirely changed their lives.
Film shooting was located in different nooks of Russia. Maksim Tomash from Stereotactic company was acting as a film director. Nina Saveleva from Krasniy Kvadrat company became a creative producer.
Films’ Central characters are a German urbanism professor Gunter and a free minded Chinese girl Li Fen. Gunter came to Russia to discover tourist attractions. He has prepared for his journey beforehand, made a detailed plan of the trip, he is extremely focused and attentive. Gunter enjoys urban realm and good hotels, amusedly attends museums of classic and modern art, visits monuments.
Gunter’s story looks like an adventure film with a cliffhanger plot. Though he had an ideally planned route – he changes his plans and the country uncloses for him from a very different side. He rushes on a motor-cycle across the field, dives in an ice cold lake, builds up a fire with locals, travels by rail throughout the country and performs a 210 meter bungee jump in the end.
The travel to Russia for Gunter is primarily a travel to the “truly”, “original” himself, a chance to hear own genuine voice and to feel the pulse of life, which probably shouldn’t have opened up for him in other circumstances.
BEAUTIFUL MOSCOW - TSARITSYNO PARK IN THE SOUTH OF MOSCOW
The estate is known from the late 16th century, when it belonged to Tsaritsa Irina, sister of Tsar Boris Godunov. At that time it was called Bogorodskoye. In the 17th century it belonged to the Streshnevs and then to the Galitzines.
Smaller hall inside the grand palace
In 1775, the estate was bought by empress Catherine the Great, who happened to be passing through the area and fell in love with the picturesque beauty of the land. It received its present name, which means “Tsaritsa’s”.
In 1776-85 architect Vasili Bazhenov built a palace for the Empress there. When the palace was almost complete, the Empress visited Tsaritsyno to inspect it. She declared the rooms to be too cramped and dark, and the palace unlivable. As a result, Catherine ordered the palace to be torn down. The remnants of the foundation of Bazhenov's original palace are still visible in the park.
Palace front
In 1786, Matvey Kazakov presented new architectural plans, which were approved by Catherine. Kazakov supervised the construction project until 1796 when the construction was interrupted by Catherine's death. Her successor, Emperor Paul I of Russia showed no interest in the palace and the massive structure remained unfinished and abandoned for more than 200 years, until it was completed and extensively reworked in 2005-07.
Currently, in Tsaritsyno there are a history and architecture museum, a landscape park with an adjacent forest, an art museum, the Biryulyovo dendropark, and a cascade of the Tsaritsyno ponds. It is managed by the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve, founded in 1984.
Park
Bazhenov's Opera House, 1776–1778
The 18th-century architecture ensemble was built (though not finished) following the order of Catherine II in Neo-Gothic style, after projects of the Bazhenov and Kazakov, and it is the only 18th-century architectural ensemble of such dimensions in Russia.
Around the palace, in the park there are a number of pavilions, pergolas, arbours, artificial grottos, decorative bridges (early 19th century, architect I. Yegotov), and a Russian Orthodox temple “Source of Life”, as well as a modern recreation center with an upscale restaurant. For a long time most buildings were ruined (and used for rock climbing). In 2005-2007 most buildings were extensively restored and completed: roofs, interiors and decorations have been added and their historical appearance has been altered. A number of buildings house the Russian museum of folk and applied art. The atrium of the “Bread House” is used for concerts of Moscow musicians.
The park grounds contain a group of burial mounds (Kurgans) that belong to the Early Slavs tribe Vyatichs dated to the 11th-13th century.

I headed for the train station to go to Noborodo. The railway in Russia has a total length of 8600 km. It is an important means of transportation for ordinary people. It has been operating high-speed trains since 2009. I went inside the train. It had facilities similar to Korea's high-speed trains. When I got out of the city, the landscape of rural areas spread out of the window. Veliky Novgorod, about 180 km from Saint Petersburg, is one of the oldest cities in Russia. It was built in AD 859 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon reaching the castle center, there is the Russian Millennium Memorial, built in 1862. In the vicinity of the tower, the image of the heroes who embraced Russia was carved, and it was able to realize the history of a thousand years.

Trains ran all night from 7 o'clock in the morning had finally arrived in Irkutsk. The train station was built more than 100 years it is not impressive. Good-bye to one wheel was to explore the city's famous trams bus ride from Irkutsk. There are beautiful old buildings in Irkutsk lift a European. Because of Irkutsk is referred to as the 'Paris of Siberia , or small St. Petersburg. It is established when the Russians came in and did surprised at the fact that this city in Siberia. Irkutsk is also so strange and beautiful city. The city as the Trans-Siberian Railway begins when Alexander III began to develop in earnest. This year is the completion of the Trans-Siberian railway haeda not necessarily be 100 years. It found four won one of the most beautiful Orthodox monasteries of the ski's namen in Irkutsk. Elaborate on the life and culture of the Russian people, art came accounted for much larger place for a thousand years it seems vaguely know.
