BANG KRADI
“Lost in Mon's World”
You may think that Mon and Burmese are one of the same, but they’re actually not. Originally, Mon hails near the lower part of Irrawaddy river while Burmese people came from north of the river. To feel the difference, come here to Bang Kradi, the biggest Mon community in Bangkok. It is a place where culture, food, way of life, language, vibe, or even fashion are still preserved. But be ready!, you’re about to be absorbed into Mon world, while you’re still in Bangkok.
They are disappearing, but together we can make them #APPEAR

Nang Loeng
Vibrant Food Market and Hub of Performance
Hidden in the center of Bangkok's Old Town, Nang Loeng is known as Foodie's Haven. Yet, not many people know about its culture and what are disappearing in it the communities. In its golden years, Nang Loeng was once bustling vibrant food market and hub of entertainment, dancing art, musical drama, and culture. But sadly, only a few traditional Thai performances, like Chatri dance, remains there now; hidden away under the shadow of its own past.
They are disappearing, but together we can make them #APPEAR

KOH SARN CHAO
“Crafted From Nature”
Despite being called Koh Sarn Chao, it’s not exactly an island the way most people think. It’s two canals passing through this community. And with the two canals, Koh Sarn Chao is surrounded by green forest, unlike other concrete jungles like the rest of the city. Here you can discover the local crafts from nature like Pang Puang and Tang Yuak.
They are disappearing, but together we can make them #APPEAR
